The idea of artificial eye stuck with me because I imagined a point-blank gunshot to the face and figured the eye had to be...mushy afterwards. So I went to explain to myself that artificial it is. And the eyebrow...grew back. Eventually. There must have been facial reconstruction. Methinks.
Argh. The red line of "you are not permitted to visit, again"......

"I heard, Santiago was attacked at his own base!"
"Oh, but who did it?"
"Zaeed Massani, believe it or not! Mad dog killed poor Vido in cold blood!"
Priceless.

"Poor Vido". Heh. I wonder if there is anybody who would see things Vido´s way ingame? Joker seems to quite like him. Probably because of the similarities he sees between Shepard and Zaeed. Minus cheques. The rest of the Normandy crew is neutral. Minus Kelly.
Aria? For appreciating a strong leader and a known quantity for the Blue Suns?

"I bumped into Zaeed recently. For a person who's seen so much violence he is surprisingly... _________" WHAT???
And does anybody know who is the "personal writer" of Zaeed?
A heads-up: the talk about Vido occurs near the guardsroom door, but you need to approach the group of guests standing there for the second time, after they discuss Commander Shepard's reappearence.

What does Kelly say about Zaeed? Shame, I forgot the most important part!

I think that was it.

Plus to have him and Ash in the same squad would make me giggle like a little girl, I bet she would love his stories.
I wish Bioware gave us the option to get Jessie fixed for him.

Shameless self promotion here, however I figured Shepard's awesome had to come from somewhere.
That was pretty good. I was reading with Zaeed's VA narrating the story in my mind & quite enjoyed it.

If Bioware´s going to bring Massani back, fixing Jessie in the process, it might make one hell of a scene.
Zaeed would shed a happy tear and test-shoot the nearest living (like the unfortunate gunshmith who just fixed his own demise), going "Just like old times, you cold-blooded old b***!"
Or a bloody cameo at the endgame, showing his truly suicidal last stand.
Hmm. I remember a youtube video of Zaeed talking about Jessie. Gotta go find it.

Involving Jack would be like an attempt of keeping three cats sitting in a row.

Zaeed's retirement plans seem sloppy at forming, and I think he would be taking jobs once in a while regardless, but growing old, he'd need someone to watch his back.
Jack on the other hand needs someone who'd teach her how to stay afloat more often. It's not like she's got much skin for new jail tattoes left... And Zaeed's got more taste in tattoes, so that's just another reason.

Well, Zaeed and Jack would certainly be a powerful team. Zaeed probably wouldn't try to start a new merc company though, he's been there and done that. He'd likely do a freelance job once and a while during his retirement though, to keep from getting rusty.
To be honest, I got this kind of paternal vibe from Zaeed when he was talking about Jack - and remember, he's finally got closure on this whole Vido thing. In my mind, his setting up of a mercenary unit would be to have something to turn over to Jack, so that she has something to do with her life. Plus, as he gets older, assuming the setting doesn't go all transhuman and age stops being a problem, his best assets are going to be his years of experience, leading and advising mercenary units seems like a good use of that.
