I always thought Zaeed would have gotten implants to help him see. Why he kept the scars and the white eye? No idea. Maybe for the same reason he's kept Jessie all these years. As a reminder to keep fighting and get revenge.

I bet Zaeed was a little short on funds after Vido shot him, so he had to settle for only the most essetial surgery. And after a while he got used to his new image, so he never went for cosmetics.

Or he´s not the type to care about what colour his eyes are, as long as they serve him. Edit: though he did cover up the marks on his neck left by a certain hanar, for weeks even...hmm.
The idea of artificial eye stuck with me because I imagined a point-blank gunshot to the face and figured the eye had to be...mushy afterwards. So I went to explain to myself that artificial it is. And the eyebrow...grew back. Eventually. There must have been facial reconstruction. Methinks.

Argh. The red line of "you are not permitted to visit, again"......

I just assumed Zaeed either doesn't much care about fixing it, or perhaps he's the type of person who doesn't like doctors mucking about in his face. Some people are like that, they'd rather die or be disfigured then take help from some doctor, like it's against their "code of honor".Or again, maybe he was just a little strapped for cash.

rebuilding his face after being shot point blank by a pistol from the ME universe is gonna leave bad scarring even with whatever super surgery they have.

seriously just hope we get Zaeed back in the next game. even on my paragons, i still kill Vido every time. Burn you son of'a ****

Indeed, Vido Santiago must die.

Most of all I like it how at the Donovan Hock's party somebody tells the story:

"I heard, Santiago was attacked at his own base!"

"Oh, but who did it?"

"Zaeed Massani, believe it or not! Mad dog killed poor Vido in cold blood!"

Priceless.

Same here. Must cure my ignorance!

"Poor Vido". Heh. I wonder if there is anybody who would see things Vido´s way ingame? Joker seems to quite like him. Probably because of the similarities he sees between Shepard and Zaeed. Minus cheques. The rest of the Normandy crew is neutral. Minus Kelly.

Aria? For appreciating a strong leader and a known quantity for the Blue Suns?

What does Kelly say about Zaeed? Shame, I forgot the most important part!

"I bumped into Zaeed recently. For a person who's seen so much violence he is surprisingly... _________" WHAT???

And does anybody know who is the "personal writer" of Zaeed?

A heads-up: the talk about Vido occurs near the guardsroom door, but you need to approach the group of guests standing there for the second time, after they discuss Commander Shepard's reappearence.

I think that was it.

Yeah, or it was "adapted", something like that.

I hope Zaeed returns as a squadmate, Bioware can do so much with this guy. He's a cockney Boba Fett, the human Wrex, he could teach Chuck Norris the meaning of badass, the guy is pure awsome!

Plus to have him and Ash in the same squad would make me giggle like a little girl, I bet she would love his stories.

I wish Bioware gave us the option to get Jessie fixed for him.

Shameless self promotion here, however I figured Shepard's awesome had to come from somewhere.

That was pretty good. I was reading with Zaeed's VA narrating the story in my mind & quite enjoyed it.

Kelly about Zaeed - IIRC it was "adjusted".

If Bioware´s going to bring Massani back, fixing Jessie in the process, it might make one hell of a scene.

Zaeed would shed a happy tear and test-shoot the nearest living (like the unfortunate gunshmith who just fixed his own demise), going "Just like old times, you cold-blooded old b***!"

Or a bloody cameo at the endgame, showing his truly suicidal last stand.

Hmm. I remember a youtube video of Zaeed talking about Jessie. Gotta go find it.

Thank you, Zulu. Now there´s something to make one feel light-hearted at wintertime, when the days are short and light is scarce.

If there's any sort of time-skip in between ME2 and 3 it'd be nice to see Zaeed start a new merc organization - maybe involving Jack as well, he seemed to like her.

Wouldn´t be so sure about that - he´s more of a lone wolf as I see it. Couldn´t keep his share of the Blue Suns, for one (I know, this has been discussed in lenght). So after this time and with his retirement plans forming - suppose not.

Involving Jack would be like an attempt of keeping three cats sitting in a row.

Zaeed & Jack could make good partners.

Zaeed's retirement plans seem sloppy at forming, and I think he would be taking jobs once in a while regardless, but growing old, he'd need someone to watch his back.

Jack on the other hand needs someone who'd teach her how to stay afloat more often. It's not like she's got much skin for new jail tattoes left... And Zaeed's got more taste in tattoes, so that's just another reason.

Well, Zaeed and Jack would certainly be a powerful team. Zaeed probably wouldn't try to start a new merc company though, he's been there and done that. He'd likely do a freelance job once and a while during his retirement though, to keep from getting rusty.

To be honest, I got this kind of paternal vibe from Zaeed when he was talking about Jack - and remember, he's finally got closure on this whole Vido thing.  In my mind, his setting up of a mercenary unit would be to have something to turn over to Jack, so that she has something to do with her life.  Plus, as he gets older, assuming the setting doesn't go all transhuman and age stops being a problem, his best assets are going to be his years of experience, leading and advising mercenary units seems like a good use of that.
