I've always assumed Zaeed is blind in that eye. If you look at his facial scarring, you can see that it's the eye on the side of his face where he was shot. It would make sense that there'd be some impairment of vision, and besides, this makes Zaeed even more of a badass. Not only does he do all these awesome things, but he does them with only, one working eye.

The first thing that struck me about Hackett´s appearence was it´s resemblance to Zaeed´s.
So that makes it a whole lot easier to accept that he´s not modeled after Henriksen

Hackett has an assault rifle called Lance. Zaeed has Jessie.
Ooooh I feel a love story in the making. Kinda like Love Actually but with more blood and fighting.

EDIT: Heeeeeeyyyyy, we can't seriously call Hackett's rifle 'Lance' can we? I mean, that's just painfully obvious. Y'know... Lance Henriksen, Hackett, I can't bare the cheesyness

Hey i just like to say that Zaeed is my favorite character is mass effect 2 after Mordin i know it's unlikely that he'll be in mass effect 3 but i hope the devs see threads like this and take note

I know, I know, but it beats Bishop:whistle:
Also, with the named rifle or not, it´d be great if Hackett would have some recognition of Zaeed. He was serving, and with his later notoriety, surely Alliance has been keeping at least an moderate eye on him (still counting on him being included all the way, yes).

Zaeed became my favorite character the moment I first laid eyes on him last Tuesday (when I got the game...PS3 user).  As soon as I could switch party members, he was put in my group and when all possible, I bring him on missions (few exceptions are missions like Kasumi and the very last mission, since Miranda wasn't loyal to me...left Garrus, Grunt and Zaeed to hold the line and see if I could keep her alive...they did their job well in that regard  ).

Great character, even if he doesn't have a dialogue tree/wheel on the Normandy   Still waiting to see if the Shadow Broker has video on him.  Read the Dossier (which I got a kick out of his cheap retirement plan).

I wonder if I bribed Zaeed with beer and more weapons if he'd stay in my Captain's Cabin and feed my fish.  Buggers are always dying because I forget to feed them

Very excited for the Arrival DLC, so I can take Zaeed and go find something new to beat up

Is that an air hook up or something?  I don't think I have any more space missions to do on my one and only Shepard.  Otherwise, I'd do a space mission and see if his hockey air mask has any hookups.  If this has already been discussed in the thread, could ya give me either a link or a search term so I can read myself?  I'd appreciate it

First of all, that first pic of Zaeed is "f-ing golden", to quote Rod Blagojevich. Zaeed looks all majestic, gazing off into the distance like that. Next order of business, the gray thing. I believe it's just a piece of armor, nothing more. Of course, it could be a secret shoulder-laser Zaeed will use to defeat the Reapers in ME3 for all we know. Finally, the air hookup. I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head there, as it definitely looks like an air hookup of some sort.
