Yea I like Zaeed. People's impression of Zaeed are understandably marred by the fact you can't really have a conversation with him on the Normandy, but he's still an interesting character. He's pretty badass, and if he ever decide to take a job to kill Shepard, at least I'll have a worthy opponent.

Yeah, I always felt like he would become an enemy in Me3. He'd be a badass boss fight.

I want to believe that Zaeed has more honor then to just accept any old contract that float by his face.  Zaeed is definatly not the kind of guy to accept a contract to go attack civilian targets and slaughter innocent people.  Though I'm sure he wouldn't think twice about letting innocents die so long as he gets the job done.  In that respect I consider Zaeed to be similar to Thane in that both have integrity in the choice of their mission, however each individual has their own different ideolgies on what is an acceptable means to an end.

honestly, zaeed has the potential to be an awesome character, and why they recorded so much dialouge for him but no way for shepard to respond is beyond me. he seems really interesting, but your only actual character interaction is in his mission, which is very limited at best.

yea, really its the lack of 2-sided dialouge that kills it. not even mordin could be that popular if all he did was blabber on while shep listened.

Gotta love Zaeed. Anyone who can survive a gunshot to the head and nearly being strangled to death by a Hanar has my respect.

I thought Zaeed was HUGELY badass. :D And I actually really liked the little stories he tells, I stop in after every mission to see him and see what he has to say. I like the guy. And he had a loyalty mission that I really had to think about, where I had to make decisions to please him, or that felt right, and risk pissing him off. It seems like he respected Shepard for those decisions.

In short, Zaeed, complete badass. :D I also loved his voice acting.

Personally, I really like taking the guy out because he feels like someone solid who has my back. Someone who's seen a lot of stuff. He's seasoned, and he knows how gritty places work.

With that, I totally joined the group. :D

Zaheed says: dialogue trees are for pansies

Hes a too cool for school and too cool to let you speak. When he says something you shut up, listen, and learn something.

I actually liked Zaeed better than a lot of the other characters...he had a lot of good lines when you took him with you in your squad.

His response to the neural decay on jacobs loyalty mission made me laugh.

I have to concur with both of you.
Once I got the whole DLC figured out and got Zaeed on my team I don't think I played through any point of the 2nd half of the game without him.  He always had something to say that made me like him that much more.

Then on my second playthough as a Soldier, I couldnt have had a better friend.  Zaeed all the way through...always keepin' my back safe, and never saying the wrong things.

Only once I didnt take Zaeed with me on a mission, a freak accident. (Glad to see people are joining my group too, maybe we can all be Big God Dam heroes?)

I'm probably one of the few people that prefers Zaeed WITHOUT a dialog tree. When I went to visit him, I didn't feel like some captain trying to get emotional with him. I felt like a child hearing giant tell me stories of his grandeur. Just two fellow warriors trading tales...

When you say that... it makes sense, I like it now. (Besides even canderos and the other guys like Zaeed, the only thing you asked them is got another story? and What happened next?)

Yeah, I like Zaeed a lot. Most badass member of the squad, talks a ton, and just the sort of guy I want at my back. Screw conversation trees.

They should of made dialogue for him so we could actually talk to him, not just have him tell stories by looking at his stuff. He's awesome though.

I love Zaeed and I would trade any other party member to have him in mass effect 3. But it won't happen. They aren't going to make a dlc character into a main character in the third one. I can't think of a game where previous dlc has played an integral role in a sequel.

Do people hate Zaeed? I can't see why he is damn cool. I just wish you got more dialogue with him. How can you not like that voice? They better expand that pay roll and flesh the man out in ME3.

Those werid people who care about "feelings" and "communication" hate Zaeed. Me personally Godam love the guy! Vido Santiago, hahahahaha, classic.

I like his character/personality, but he just seems like a waste of squad space.

Grunt is a better pure soldier, he can eat more damage and get in close with a shotty and do his bumrush thing.

Garrus and Thane are better to use as pure snipers, and Garrus can concussive shot as well.

I tried incendary grenades with my Soldier for the RP effect, and it's alright, but meh, I'd rather have Reave or Dominate.

Yes, I acutally do think Zaeed is a great character, and he's always a part of my Squad for the missions that require an aggressive stance, or ones that take place on Omega. It's sad, but the first time I saw Zaeed the first thing that popped in my head was, "Old Man Boba Fett." And, given the fact that I'm an insane Star Wars fan, it was almost impossible to NOT have him in my Squad.

He used to do "scorched earth work" but the batarians have that niche all sewn up so he just lets them do their thing now.
