My femShep has been celibate through both ME's cuz no one was awesome enough for her attentions. She let Vido get away on Zorya just so she could punch Zaeed in the mouth as foreplay.

Prepare to be disappointed because there's already a lady in Zaeed's life: Jessie. He'd never cheat on her...

Man I just put a wierd image in my head. Makes me extra glad I didn't download that Fornax mag...

I recently ran across the dialogue where Zaeed compliments Jack. I like to imagine them hanging out below decks, sharing stories of all the times that everybody else died...

But then Jack would somehow die from some improbable accident.

LOL I saw in a Casey Hudson interview he mentions that you shouldn't Google that if you have a sane mind.

And it is true, Zaeed needs no more ladies, Bioware should fix her for ME3. More butt kicking with Zaeed. :D

True enough. Unless there´s a foxy gunsmith=] But...No.

Punching as foreplay... sounds kroganish. Love is a battle, eh, and in this case, to the letter.

He was in my squad when my FemShep head-butted a krogan...what's not to like in a woman like that? :-)

There is even a cut piece of dialogue between the two. Supposedly, it was meant to pop up somewhere on the Omega, if you brought them both on the squad, but it never triggers in the game. Something about Jack thinking she vaguely remembers running into Zaeed, and Zaeed retorting that it's improbable, because if somebody survives a run in with him intact enough to remember it, it is remembered very well.

Oh, so that's why it happened.

Not shown: Zaeed in background.

Just voicing my support for Zaeed.  He might be a bad man....but we need bad men in times like these.

He's also one of the members of what I refer to as my "Testosterone Squad".  Sometimes, the only answer to a problem is to show with the three baddest, manliest men to have ever lived.  Those three being MaleShep, Zaeed, and Garrus.  When they show up somewhere, you know that asses WILL be kicked.

I always figured Zaeed probably hangs out most with Jack and Grunt.  Jack for the aforementioned reasons, but I can see how Grunt would enjoy hearing Zaeed's stories of epic battles.

In my head, everyone likes talking to Zaeed because he has all the interesting stories, whether they admit it or not. I imagine Zaeed and Thane sitting down and sharing war stories over drinks.

One of the reasons why I like him is because he doesn't seem to think less of people just because they're not hulking machines of death. His dialogue where he talks about Joker post-Collectors zerging the Normandy made me smile.

I can imagine Zaeed asking Garrus if he'd seen any of his old pals from the Blue Suns during his raids on Omega :P.

I can totally see a roundtable of various squaddies sitting around, drinking brews and telling a bunch of 'so there I was' sort of stories. It's totally how they spend their friday nights- booze and one-upping each other in body counts. XD

Are you referring to the convo (cut from Omega) that Zulu mentioned above?  Or is this another one I've never heard?

I brought Zaeed with me when I did the Forged ID quest on my renegade who killed the Council

Zaeed's always awesome, but he's über awesome on that side quest.

What happens? I never did this!

He basically tells the gal something like to look him in the eye and say that again in this way that if you were the gal, you'd probably either pee your pants, faint, or want to die.  LOL.  Def should bring him for that quest (gotta do the renegade options and I think you need the council dead, but I'm not sure on that).

Wow it's been a bit since I posted in this thread. What you guys were talking about earlier about the squad sitting around and telling stories, that's what I'd like to see in ME3 on the ship. Some actual interaction between squadmates. No more standing there in one spot, calibrating things for all of eternity. Zaeed would be great for that, he's got loads of stories already, and I'm sure he has tons more to tell the team.

Tali is definitely the odd one out down in engineering, that's for sure...

Anyway it's bad ass thinking of how the various squadmates would talk and essentially "hang out" with each other on their own time on the Normandy. It would be cool if ME3 did something similar to Dragon Age 2 where when you would go to speak with a companion, they would be briefly seen talking to another companion before excusing themselves so you could talk- the scene where you go to speak to Varric and he's seen in the pub talking to Anders for a bit before you show up.

How cool would it be to go to speak to Zaeed, only to find him telling Grunt about some awesome battle he was in? Then Shepard would essentially join in the topic. We definitely need more group dialogue scenes with squad members, not always just 1 on 1 conversations.

Yes, I acutally do think Zaeed is a great character, and he's always a part of my Squad for the missions that require an aggressive stance, or ones that take place on Omega. It's sad, but the first time I saw Zaeed the first thing that popped in my head was, "Old Man Boba Fett." And, given the fact that I'm an insane Star Wars fan, it was almost impossible to NOT have him in my Squad.

OMG, now he needs a jetpack and a flame thrower... He does kinda look likeThe Fett Man though.

He even SOUNDs a bit like the Fett (if you use jango's voice instead of the old star wars one).
When Zaeeds infamous quote "Rage is a hell of an Anisthetic" came up. I knew i was working with a bad ass veteran

You basically just listed the only squad-mates I used!

How awesome would a bar-scene be between these guys and Shep? Everybody sitting around, trying to one-up each other with war stories and with drinking capacity! Afterlife would never survive such awesomeness.

Yeah, Zaeed does seem to have some redeeming qualities, despite how much bad stuff he's been involved in.

Like you say, he doesn't talk down about Joker.  He also doesn't talk down to Jack where many might.

It'd be great to walk into the mess hall and have three or four crew members there with Zaeed, and when you walk by he starts up with "Did I ever tell you about the time that I....."

Would be pretty cool.

It seems that according to this thread, Zaeed is confirmed to be in ME3, but from the way it's put there, I don't think he's back as a squaddie.  Though I wouldn't mind if he were on my ship as my armory master or something :)

I was playing today with my engineer and a mech almost killed Z, but I did the clutch use of the combat drone and while the mech was distracted, Z killed it.  :)  Love that little thing.  Very useful for saving lives :)

I figured Zaeed wouldn't be in ME3 period due to his DLC status. So I'm happy he's there at all. He's MAH BOY!

I'm thinking he's gunna have at least one REALLY badass scene, obviously. He'll probably show up out of nowhere and blow the head off the first krogan husk intro scene as it looms over Shepard.
