Zaeed is an excellent character, great art work on the face and model, great voice acting and a believeable character.  He is one of my fav companions.

Loved Zaeed...even without the dialog tree. He reminded me of a mix between a soldier and a guy who's been on a ton of dangerous safaris...like that guy from Jurassic Park 2. Ironically, I connected more to him than I did any of the new squad (excluding Tali and Garrus)

Definitely my favorite character in the game. I was shocked when Zaeed died on the final mission in my game. How I wanted him to live as he was the one person who was always on my away team.

Jaeed isn't one to start crying about how his daddy never got him a teddy he wanted when he was younger etc. The guy does have a lot to say about past missions and the current situation however but doesn't care what you think of him. He is badass. And during missions he drops a LOT of dialogue. He is also an excellent team-mate in battle who is very durable. All the haters are jealous that his badassry rivals their Shepards.

He was also a character that in that situation I would actually want on my side.  Jack/Grunt?  Unstable.  Mordin sure could hold his own in a fight, but a really big fire fight?  Not really.  Plus his dialogue seems more original than many of the others during the game, while the lack of dialogue trees were disappointing the amount of dialogue he has made up for it.

Jesus, reading this thread reminded me of how much I like Zaeed.  If it wasn't for Mordin he'd probably be my favorite squad member, right up there with Legion.  Zaeed is a hell of alot more useful than Mordin in actual firefights however.

What's all this Shepard vs Zaeed... Shepard pretty much beat him up if you went the paragon route on Zaeed's loyalty mission... even Grunt, who's more stubborn about his own strength and skill than even Zaeed said NO ONE is a match for Shepard when doing his loyalty mission. I believe his words were "Shepard has no equal".



However, I do like Zaeed as a character.. he doesn't have a lot of dialogue options, but that doesn't mean he's not a good character. I wouldn't say he's the baddest ass of all the crew... he's up there though. Each crew member is bad ass in their own way.... Zaeed is just very up front with it, as is Grunt. Garrus became pretty badass with that whole Archangel deal.. and obviously Jack whoops some ass, her recruiting mission was by far my favorite, even before I got to see the woman underneath all that tough act through paragon romance..... it was my fav. When she got loose, what she did to those mechs... ownage. And she worked great on Insanity with my Vanguard, once she got team warp ammo it was all icing on the cake. Between her and Grunt, I'd say that was my fav two to run with... Miranda and Mordin early on bcuz of her warp and his incinerate, but she was replaced by Jack on my "usual" squad and he was replaced by Grunt.. well because if Grunt goes down, you know it wasn't over nothing... he is tough even on Insanity once he gets his fortification maxed out. I saw him sitting there raging on a scion on Insanity. ROFL They're all badass... it's good to see that people all use different squads depending on their preferences to roll with as their main crew.... that's how this game is meant to be played so opinions will always differ while others will agree.

When looking at most relentless Killers (say: Thanes first Appearance) you think: "Fatality!"

But everytime you see Zaeed and remember his Loyalty Mission you think: "Facility!"

After Solus, Tali and Garrus, Zaeed is my favourite character.

I really enjoyed his Loyalty mission and he has tons of badass dialogue.

Also, joined the group. I love Zaeed. He's one of the few characters in any video game that I've actually felt an attraction to. I wish he were romanceable, that would be such a badass romance. Renegade FemShep and Zaeed. XD I can barely imagine the grittiness of that relationship.

You know... Robin Sachs, the guy who voiced Zaeed, happens to be in Jurassic Park 2.

I dislike Zaeed. He's just some Bounty hunter with a grudge. That's all there is to his character. Hell, His rifle, Jessie, Has more depth than he does.
