There are lots of cool characters in ME1/2, and Zaeed is among the best.

Zaeed is the one who explains better why his desire for revenge it's not just a grudge (in his loyalty mission).



And he's been surviving suicidal missions before Sheppard take his place as ultimate badass.

Indeed there is a certain level of authority I feel my Shepard gets whenever he takes Zaeed along.

I don't know why people are hating on Zaeed for being "undeveloped" or "not deep enough": no sh-t.  He's a cold-hard mercenary and all he cares about is himself, that's good enough for me.  I like him because I think he's a believable badass.  He isn't all corny dialogue and "mwua-haha" evil laughter: he actually seems like a guy who will tear your spine out and take a bite out of it.  Plus he's one of the best characters in the game combat-wise.  He probably won't be back in ME 3, but I had a lot of fun with him.

Actually I do think he's deeper than he likes to let on. If you take him with you on the main storyline missions, you can get the distinct feeling from his dialogue that he really does give a damn.

I think it's too bad that they didn't give you a ship dialogue option for Zaeed. At first I thought maybe the actor recorded his lines after Mark Meer/Jennifer Hale finished their voicework, but Shepard interacts with him on the mission, so why can't he/she do so on the Normandy as well? His stories are still cool, but I'd like to comment on them...

Zaeed's that dude. Definitely one of the cooler characters in the ME universe. An Ashley/Zaeed team in ME3 would be boss. *crosses fingers*

The only problem I have with Zaeed is that he is a DLC character, so he doesn't feel like hes a proper part of the game. I don't really like the idea of new characters for DLC.

However, he is actually my favourite new character.

Zaeed and Jack all the way through also threw grunt in there occasionally, im surprised to see people say he doesnt have much character development i understood his motives alot more then some of the other characters, and he was honest and straight to the point, would have been nice to have a dialogue wheel with him but his dialogue throughout the missions more then makes up for it ...

I want to sex Zaeed up.  Make it a little wierd by adding Jessie into the equation.  Yeah.
