My only issue is that she's.. really dirty.

*cough*

Anyhow, taking him with you to Pragia, even though he only has like two lines, is insightful. His mid-mission comments are a lot deeper and more insightful into his character than those of other characters.

Zaeed is too badass for a recruitment mission.

Thats something I think gets over looked just because you can't interact with Zaeed on the ship.  There's a lot of insight given to Zaeeds personality in his Loyalty mission, so much so, that in that one mission alone the character is developed as far as all the others; that one mission says everything about Zaeed that needs to be said.

I gotta say I actually like Zaeed, the character design (actual character and artwork), the whole gun thing and the character himself, bioware really knows how to make characters (and everything else) the thing that bothers me is the thought that great characters like Jack (best design), miranda, Zaeed etc may not make it as playable characters in ME3

Our only real hope for him in ME3 is as a DLC again.

Loved Zaeed...even without the dialog tree. He reminded me of a mix between a soldier and a guy who's been on a ton of dangerous safaris...like that guy from Jurassic Park 2. Ironically, I connected more to him than I did any of the new squad (excluding Tali and Garrus)

You know... Robin Sachs, the guy who voiced Zaeed, happens to be in Jurassic Park 2.B)

Huh...didn't realize that!  Now I gotta check imdb and see about this guy...

I think a major reason why several people liked Zaeed was since every other character seemed to have these extremely emotional stories and discussions all the time, and Zaeed's character feels like a solid steady character who isn't going to whine about (as another poster said) "his daddy" etc.  There are plenty of valid emotional moments, but Zaeed feels like a refreshingly simple an straight forward character.  So let's cut the GODAMN emotion and get down to business.

Zaeed is a character that is slowly growing on me. He is definitely one of the better ones in combat especially when paired with Miranda. The one thing that still bothers me is that there seem to be a lot of graphical issues, for me at least, during some of his cinemas.

Isn't the person that voiced Zaeed the same one as Lord Harrowmont in DAO?

Zaeed is the most underrated NPC in the Mass Effect universe. That guy is 10 kinds of awesome.

I like Zaeed. Been playing since launch, and I am yet to do the so call 'paragon path' on his loyalty quest. If he wants Vido dead, then I'll help make it happen.

For all practical purposes, there is no guarantee that Vido won't find a new hideout and stack it with human shields again. Best to deal with him now, Zaeed style. He may not be Krogan, but he reminds me of Wrex more than Grunt does.

I love it when we were in the Afterlife club on Omega and Zaeed says pubs are deceptive in that instead of being leisure centres they're centres of slaughter because of the fights that break out every so often! lol

Yes Zaeed kicks ass

I was like "Yeah, when you're around, everything turn into a slaughterhouse.. you can't go to the grocery store without losing half your team to commando ambushes."

I just started my 4th playthrough as a renegage adept. I'm recruiting Zaeed first this time and keeping him with me all the way. He has the best lines and is really valuable as a squadmate. Finished up my last playthrough as a paragon infiltrator and he was so helpful. He even pulled my character up in to the ship at the end. I felt bad punching him on Zorya!

I wonder if him and Dr Chakwas could get something going? lol

First impression of Zaeed pistol-whipping some helpless batarian was 'Oh, so this is a 2-dimensional soulless thug stereotype tagged on as an extra.' This was reinforced by the lack of any of the usual dialogue trees. First impression was wrong.

After running a few missions with Zaeed, realised that this was just as interesting a character as the others, if not more so. The loyalty mission gives you the backstory without having to engage in idle chatter. And, as others have pointed out, this character seems to have much more in-mission commentary than the others, and it's often pretty amusing.

Like on the convict mission when the warden refers to mercenaries as unreliable, Zaeed chips in with "You picked the wrong mercenaries". The absence of the standard on-ship dialogue trees starts to make sense too - this is not really the kind of person you walk up to and ask 'So tell me, how are you feeling?' . (Ans: 'Shut it, you goddam ponce!')

Also personally find Inferno Grenades really helpful for taking down armoured groups - even took it as a bonus on my Vanguard.

I hope so.
It's gonna be boring in the Normandy without him and his stories.

The dialogue tree would be awesome if instead of asking how he was feeling, I could tell him MY war stories! :D

So yeah, there was this one time on Feros..

Zaeed is one of my favourite charecters from ME2 and I took to him straight away so when I needed somebody for a mission who could fight hard he was an obvious choice for the job.

Sadly though he fell in my final fight in the collector base which really crushed me but at least he went down fighting.

You had him lead a fireteam didn't you? You can't do that lol. I thought about doing that, and I decided... why would I want to be seperated from Zaeed?
