I originally sent this message to EA customer support and was told to try posting it on the forums due to the fact that devs and such browse and monitor these forums. This is more of a suggestion rather than a question. I have been
browsing numerous forums and such trying to find out if during the
second play through of ME2 whether or not you can receive another
custom weapon aboard the collector ship. I just reached that area a few
moments ago and found that you are unable to pick a new weapon or
choose another weapon to have. I would like to suggest a patch for the
game that would allow people on their 2nd and 3rd play through of ME2
to be able to either change their custom weapon or more preferably to
be able to pick up additional custom weapons (Exp: 1st play person
picks up a Widow. 2nd play person picks up a LMG so they have both
custom weapons. 3rd play person picks up claymore shotgun) While I am
asking on my own right now, I am sure that there would be a lot of
happy people if such a patch was released. Additionally numerous people have mentioned to me and I have been reading that as a soldier class playing the game on insanity would be a tad bit easier if more than one custom weapon was avaiable. Aside from that ME2 is
amazing and i cannot wait for the final game.

Thank you for your time

They did this to prevent people from being Super-God with gigantic weapons on their back.

Kinda like in Fable... the 1st, you ended the game being totally a God with massive power and weapons... in Fable 2, you remain somewhat mortal still, but still remain equivalent of Chuck Norris.

In ME, it's kind of the same. At the end of ME1, you were walking and shooting at the same time with no recoil and inferno ammo, along with Spectre weapons... just totally pwning the Geth... IT IS fun... for a bit.

In ME2, they kept the Leveling Up from making you "Super-Shepard".

However, I am getting sidetracked... Yes, I agree that you should during 3 Playthroughs, you can obtain each custom weapon.

I agree - at least let me switch which custom weapon I have. A chose the Revenant my first playthrough, but it's inaccuracy means I don't use it. I really wanted the opportunity to switch for the Widow or Claymore.

Yeah that is what I am trying to get across, personally the difficulty level in ME2 versus ME is huge. I doubt that even if you had all three collector ship weapons that the "ease" of the game would be readily noticeable. Even if people think that having all three weapons would cheapen or make the game "too" easy, it would at least be nice to be able to change weapons during your second or third play through. My vote is to have access to all three by the third play through but I would settle for being able to change during the collector ship mission.

I think you should only get 1 extra weapon, but it would be nice to be able to change it at the beginning o a Game Plus link they do with the bonus power. how ever I wouldn't have a problem if the let you get the other ones by playing again but only let you bring one with you. For example, at the start of the level you chose one of the bonus weapons to take with you that level.

Being able to customize the face your imported character (from ME1 or ME2) or at least getting a clear way to retrieve the "face code". Sometimes you can see a code in the commando menu but this is the code of the default face
