yeah, i seriously thought Wrex would give Shep a hug! 
Edit: Wait a minute, Krogans live for almost 1000 years and Wrex is already quite old, let´s say... 800 yrs old. Mass effect happens during year 2183... Wrex was born in 14th century!!!
