Between a wife, job, and other games like Left 4 Dead 2 and Modern Warfare 2 I've had little time to play it. I look forward to beating the game though.

7?!
Anyway, same here. Came very close to the final boss with a dual wielding dwarven berserker but couldn't get through the final areas because I effed up my characters too much to get through on normal difficulty and I was just too stubborn to put it on easy. Attempted serveral mages after that but just couldn't get myself to RP them properly (they were a little evil inclined but I just can't seem to RP an evil char

I went in with only a couple of healing spells and my mage can't keep up.
Have tried doing everything recommended but find it ridiculous when an experience warrior is standing two feet away from a golem and the program records a, "miss". The next blow is annihilation for my guy!
Yes, I've tried "EASY"

Can't finish. Stuck at the forge. Replayed the section sixteen times using different tactics. The the friendly golems are down in ten seconds and my party doesn't last much longer.

Only played though that part on nightmare, so not sure if the AI scripts run differently on other settings...but, make sure you have one of your characters running around capping the lyrium viens so the npc's can't use them to heal.

Though, L4D2 stole me for a little while... dragon age always sucked me back in ;-;
Borderlands got on my nerves because solo play is boring so I didn't have issues with that xD
Dragon Age always won me over though...So many play throughs and i still can't leave it alone.

While one guy runs around, everyone else gets slaughtered. I've even moved into areas where no one can get to my back. Freeze golems all the time but regardless of how hard I beat on them, not one has ever gone down.
There is the beserker, Alaister, a mage and of course, the hero. Alister is supposed to be able to dispell magic but frankly, in this entire area nothing seems to work. I've been playing RPG' since Ultima IV. I've fought through more dungeons than most players here have, as they say, had hot dinners. This is really tough to beat. I have a super fast machine, (a treat, just to play this game) and Windows 7. Any help would be welcome. . .not going to give up, or cheat.
The previous golems were so easy to pulp. Whats with these guys?
Well. back to the fray.
As an after thought; what's with the lever that's mentioned just before the fight?

Went to level 16 mage before I realized I missed the Blood Mage specialization.
That hurt my motivation so massively that I lost interest.
Especially since i have now to replay all this stuff ... yeah it was fun ... but repeating it all ... cant raise my motivation for that one.
This idea of "unlocking specializations by playing" really isnt cool.
Especially since I cant get certain specializations without actually playing that class pfft.

Finished first playthrough of ME2,at the end game push with my second character and I stopped that cause I had some extra money and grabbed Bioshock 2 when I pre-prdered DA:O.

I've not yet finished my first playthrough, but have already begun a second character, just to get a break from some awkward and boring travels to find some artifacts now that we're lvled up and stockpiling certain ingredients that I can only buy from the Dalish and such. But now I'm back to wrapping that up. I honestly got board with the Dwarf quests pretty fast but still need to go all the way back to finish them, so I can finally get to the Landsmeet.

7?!I'd go utterly and totally nuts if I tried to do that.
I'm on the second one right now.
