My name is KaleoRaid, and I haven't beaten DA:O yet.

Between a wife, job, and other games like Left 4 Dead 2 and Modern Warfare 2 I've had little time to play it. I look forward to beating the game though.

I'm loving DA:O, and think its the best (computer) game I've played in years, but what with job, family and getting distracted with ME2 I still haven't finished it. Also, I'm enjoying it so much I'm taking it slow.

I finished DAO about a week ago. I felt no need to rush (though I did make a point of playing just the one character until I was done).

Nah, I've had it sitting at my desk for about a month, and only just started playing it earlier this week, and taking my time. Reason: I just let my WoW subscription expire after 3 years. Many many games have piled up in that time, playing them backwards.

Lamer here!I just got by the Anvil area. But im a patient player.I didnt get to max level in LOTRO until one week before moria was released.Im still not at max level in that game.I enjoy my games and my life.No need to rush things.Even if i do finish my campaign, ive got 3 more on the go to get done. Then ill be switching to hard then nightmare mode.By the time im done,DAO 2 will probably be released .And that doesnt inclue any other games i might get sidetracked on either.

I do want to finish it before march. I'm at the archdemon, but my level feels too low so I'm going back a bit and levelling up. Any tips for archdemon?

I have one character that is ready for the final push, but then I have so many lower level characters that are exploring things that I missed. Every time I find a new set of quests or some new direction that I want to explore I decide "hey lets start again." I don't mind. Taking a long time is my way of getting my money's worth out of a game.

I just finished about an hour ago. What a great ending. I better not say too much so I'll just say this may well be the best game I ever played.

Well, time to create another character.

7?! I'd go utterly and totally nuts if I tried to do that.

Anyway, same here. Came very close to the final boss with a dual wielding dwarven berserker but couldn't get through the final areas because I effed up my characters too much to get through on normal difficulty and I was just too stubborn to put it on easy. Attempted serveral mages after that but just couldn't get myself to RP them properly (they were a little evil inclined but I just can't seem to RP an evil char :pinched:). Now playing through with a goody two shoes mage but I'm starting to get bored with him too... I'm currently at the Brecilian forest but I'm really not looking forward to doing the same quest in exactly the same way for the third time in a row (as that solution would be really the only option that's in character for my current char)... *sigh* :(

I haven't finished yet either. I started one character, then decided I wanted to try something else after playing about 20 hours. So now I got about 45-50 hours into it. I tend to read and look at every single thing.

Can't finish. Stuck at the forge. Replayed the section sixteen times using different tactics. The the friendly golems are down in ten seconds and my party doesn't last much longer.

I went in with only a couple of healing spells and my mage can't keep up.

Have tried doing everything recommended but find it ridiculous when an experience warrior is standing two feet away from a golem and the program records a, "miss". The next blow is annihilation for my guy!

Yes, I've tried "EASY"

Only played though that part on nightmare, so not sure if the AI scripts run differently on other settings...but, make sure you have one of your characters running around capping the lyrium viens so the npc's can't use them to heal.

Oh yus, the holiday game onslaught, I feel that xD

Though, L4D2 stole me for a little while... dragon age always sucked me back in ;-;

Borderlands got on my nerves because solo play is boring so I didn't have issues with that xD

Dragon Age always won me over though...So many play throughs and i still can't leave it alone.

While one guy runs around, everyone else gets slaughtered.  I've even moved into areas where no one can get  to my back.  Freeze golems all the time but regardless of how hard I beat on them, not one has ever gone down.

There is the beserker, Alaister, a mage and of course, the hero.  Alister is supposed to be able to dispell magic but frankly, in this entire area nothing seems to work.  I've been playing RPG' since Ultima IV.  I've fought through more dungeons than most players here have, as they say, had hot dinners.  This is really tough to beat.  I have a super fast machine, (a treat, just to play this game) and Windows 7.  Any help would be welcome. .  .not going to give up, or cheat.

The previous golems were so easy to pulp.  Whats with these guys?

Well. back to the fray.

As an after thought; what's with the lever that's mentioned just before the fight?

I havent finished either.

Went to level 16 mage before I realized I missed the Blood Mage specialization.

That hurt my motivation so massively that I lost interest.

Especially since i have now to replay all this stuff ... yeah it was fun ... but repeating it all ... cant raise my motivation for that one.

This idea of "unlocking specializations by playing" really isnt cool.

Especially since I cant get certain specializations without actually playing that class pfft.

Had the game since launch and haven't finished yet, had to put it down for a little bit and just recently started playing it again. I have all but 2 origin stories completed (haven't finished the dwarven commoner or started dwarven noble). My 'main' is just after Redcliffe castle and has over 16 hours play time so far. At this rate (I read every bloody entry into my codex and take time with conversations) I will see a 60+/- hour game time for first completion (if not more).

Humm I have one finished playthrough. And several other characters in the post ostagar-first treaty stage. The long blocks of content I just dont find replayable.

Finished first playthrough of ME2,at the end game push with my second character and I stopped that cause I had some extra money and grabbed Bioshock 2 when I pre-prdered DA:O.

Us older folks, with jobs and family concerns, make it tough to find enough time to play on a daily basis. I finally finished last week after 3 months of playing an hour here and there. However, one play through, on normal difficulty, as a human warrior, doing every quest I could find is enough for me; although I know I am missing other storylines. Bring on Awakenings and hang in there my fellow slow-pokes.

Due to internet trouble and Gamestop F***ery, I didn't get my coppy untill well after Christmass, but on the up side, GS gave me a discount for putting up with it. lol Yay discount! I am poor!

I've not yet finished my first playthrough, but have already begun a second character, just to get a break from some awkward and boring travels to find some artifacts now that we're lvled up and stockpiling certain ingredients that I can only buy from the Dalish and such. But now I'm back to wrapping that up. I honestly got board with the Dwarf quests pretty fast but still need to go all the way back to finish them, so I can finally get to the Landsmeet.

I'm playing seven in sequence.

I'm on the second one right now.

Nope, I haven't beaten it. Grant it, I got it yesterday, but you know still.
