i also agree. There were quite a few places they could have talked and it would have been much more interesting.
I did like the way Shep would set on the couch or chair, or lean against the table. It used to bother me a bit when she would say something about siting down when she talked to Kaidan but just stood there.

Agree completely!.
Quite dull the two sidekicks never really get into any talk on missions.
Well now that think of it, no side-missions (N7) got any dialog. Heh.
But yes, some more chatter on the normandy wouldnt hurt one bit. Wouldnt mind some normal crew NPC walking about either (not your actual team, that would be annoying).

-conversations between squadmates, every one of them and different ones for each location
- conversations for each mission, even sidequests from each member and between members
I want my team to feel like they're alive and actually acknowledge the existence of the other, they don't have to all get along but it shouldn't feel like they're with me only because I'm taking them hostage.

Agreed. Can't see them getting all the voice actors back just to make a DLC that adds in party conversations, though. Maybe if they make an expansion? Probably not, sadly.

I like the idea
Garrus and Tali's dialogue about the elevator rides is the only significant banter piece I can think of, and I thought it was awesome. I did enjoy it very much in DA:O, and missed it in ME2. The voice acting and writing was fantastic, don't get me wrong, but the party members seem more like real people when they have interactions between each other that don't involve you. Plus, Bioware always makes them so entertaining

Dear Devs, please implement DA:O-style party banter (or something like it) in the next game! It would really make the characters shine even more than they already do (and you would make many of us really, really happy). *implements cute puppy dog eyes strategy*

This happens to be one of the only things I thought ME2 was missing. I'll definitely bump the post and hope the devs take notice.

I would have to agree, and absolutely, I felt this was lacking. It's a shame -- I really would've liked to see more of the team interacting with each other. Definitely the sort of BG2/KOTOR banter sorts of things would've been welcome.

ME2 is easily one of my favorite games of all time. I felt close to my squadmates, but I really didn't feel like we were part of a team. Hell, outside of Miranda/Jacob, it seemed like the only squad members who knew each other existed even were Legion/Tali and Miranda/Jack.

Agreed, the side banter in DAO was one of the highlights of that game. Made the NPC's feel so much more alive and less like combat assets you drag along for missions.
