Agreed... and i liked the combat better in mass effect 1.

Oh brother, look I can understand you liking ME 1 more  I prefer ME 2 but I can understand you liking ME 1 more, the thing is ME 2 is NOT a major disappointment, it was nominated for and won several GOTY awards, had a very high metacritic score and was received well by both the gaming press and by fans, as far as the story goes ME 2 was about character development and setting up ME 3, the middle part of a triology usualy focuses on character development while setting up the last act, I really don't know what you were expecting storywise, it seems like alot of fans especialy here on the bsn boards wanted their ME 3 with their ME 2.

ME2 being the second part of a trilogy does not make it a great game. nothing happens in ME2. when we get to our hearing and get blamed for saved/killed the rachni, or saved/killed the geth, or whatever the heck, i dont think there is going to be alot to mention on what shepard did in ME2, other then make a few good buddies.

ME1 is far too good of a game to think ME3 wouldnt be an improvment of what direction they went with in ME2, so i do have hope. honestly they almost had me fully back with weapon mods.
