Whatever. People get tattoos of things they are into.

N7 logo is no worse or better than Greek letters or a sports team logo.

This. Or maybe a random Japanese/Chinese character.

People get tattoos using all kinds of symbols/pictures that only have meaning to them, it's harmless. I have a military patch tattoed on my right shoulder, not because it's "cool" but because it means something to me.

Excellent
Tattoos are such a personal thing that it doesn't matter what other people think , as has been said if it means something to you then that is all that counts , i was getting my arm measured today for a half sleeve based around a dragon design so this thread comes along at just the right time for me.Image IPB

All the best

Hopefully the Aliance won't bring the new N8 model into ME3.

I was reading a body building magazine on my way home from the gym one day, and the huge super ripped guy on the cover had the brotherhood of steel logo tatooed on his arm.

It's not weird at all.

I used to despise tattoos, thought everyone who got them had self esteem issues... then one of my friends started talking about one he wanted to get that was very personal to him, meant a lot as it was a tribute to a friend who had died. That kinda put it into perspective.

I have become so drawn into Mass Effect and the universe like some people get drawn into Star Trek or Star Wars, and getting a tattoo of the N7 logo is the most tasteful thing someone can do as a fan who is into ink. Me, I'll just wait until I can get an N7 t-shirt in 2XLT (why do they only offer 2XL! I am a tall guy, that is too short, or even 3XL for the rest of us "fat" americans)

I'm not kidding when i say I wish my mom had a pong tattoo... Well, i'm kidding but it would be a cool tattoo to see on an old person. I would have used my dad in this example except he already has a 35 year old 007 tattoo. How cool is that. Seriously though, someday you will be able to tell your children about the tattoo and explain why it has nothing to do with the stupid movie about the game. Love it!

Yeah I have 2 of my favored combat patches on my shoulders, they too mean something to me, in fact they are dear to me, partly to pay respect to those I've served with, and those we lost. Never forget.

Indeed! I couldn't agree more. I only got one on the right shoulder 'cause I was only ever in one unit.

Anyway, not going to derail this thread. I'm actually pleased that the OP isn't getting more flak; I expected it to be a one-sided flamefest. So good on you folks. :)

I wish i had a ME tattoo. I'm stuck with the dreaded kanji that no matter how unique it is or no matter how much it has real meaning to you, will always be seen as trendy and hokey. Cerberus would be cool too... sort of.
