I've eaten zebra steaks. I wouldn't recommend it, because it isn't really tender meat.



I've also eaten crocodile "meat". I wouldn't recommend that either, because it tastes like bad fish.



To my surprise springbok (or antelope) was great. It's steaks are very tender. Something I didn't expect.

BTW: According to the restaurant these animals were bred for consumption and were not shot in the wild. I have to take their word for it. In my country there are strict laws for that, so I tend to believe them.

Regarding the comments on the upper part; Bergen was marbellous for caviar of pretty much everything. Lovely viking city; how I miss her...

when I was little, I picked up food from the ground and ate them, I ate some roasted beetles, and occasionally mosquitos that fly into my throat during the summer. I also ate snake before; my uncle catches snake and I had two as my pet.

Eh, nothing too impressive for me. I've had some weird fruits whose names I can't remember, and I've had fried ants. Not little ones, but these ones:

Their Spanish name basically means big-assed ants. They kind of taste like old motor oil; not terrible, but nothing I would go out of my way for.
