I'm curious about how many times people have played through ME1 since beating ME2?
I know that I've done it once now and will probably do it two more times. Once for renegade and once for no LI in ME1. Of course, after the no LI in ME1, I may play through ME2 for all the LIs just so I can see how they play out in ME3..
So, how about everyone else?
How many times playing through ME1 for ME2?

Once. I played through a Paragon on Casual in like 9 hours to be sure I got Tali, Garrus, and Wrex's side missions. Did nothing else but the main story line.

So far one time, since I wanted to simply experience the whole thing again and see the differences between both with a fresh ME2 play-through in memory. I really liked it, it ends up that both games are awesome in their own ways, one does things better than the other and vice versa, also I took that opportunity to bring my existing ME1 career to Level 60 and import it in ME2 as my "main" save, the one I'll first be using for ME3. What I really liked from playing ME1 again is to hear the soundtrack and be in my beloved Normandy SR-1 which I missed a lot in ME2 (Cerberus-made ships aren't my type really).

So you plan on having a "main" save from ME2? The single thing that keeps me wanting to play through again and again is seeing how the major choices play out in ME3.

14 ME1's.
5 were farming at level to prep an Insanity run before I found out ME1 insanity was a snorefest.

I've played ME1 twice now to get the 4 options I want ready for ME3.
ME1a: Council Dead/No LI Which translates into two ME2 games (Garrus/Thane RI)
ME1b: Council Alive/Kaiden LI Which will translate into two ME2 games (Staying true/Garrus RI)
Cause I'm a girl, and play for the DRAMAZ XD
Plus I don't mind using the same character for it all. I get squiged out whenever I see a different Shep face on the screen. O.o

Well, yeah, somewhat. I try to role-play my characters, I got three so far, two FemSheps and one MaleShep, the MaleShep is still stuck in ME1 because I can BARELY stand the voice acting of that guy, I think he sucks but that's my opinion, nothing more. I would like to play more with MaleShep to romance Tali in ME2, but when I think about it then it feels wrong, I don't "role-play" my way in ME2 so I can just finally watch a single romance scene. The thing is that my "main" ME1 character (FemShep) has been role-played for a good 40+ hours during my first play-through in ME1 BEFORE I ended up finally going with Liara as a love interest.
And so from THAT point, when it was "official" that she would be my love interest I felt like my second FemShep had to romance Kaiden instead to have two different story perspectives, so I did that, but now in ME2 both those FemSheps got screwed up in terms of romance from ME1 since both Kaiden and Liara can't be romanced (at least I got a kiss from Liara, ha!), and so ME2 felt... emptier? I'm not sure how to put it, but it felt different "without him" and "without her" on the Normandy. Now, with all that said, my "main" character ends up being the one with which I've played the most, simply, the one with which I've role-played the most, and that's my ME1 Level 60 FemShep with the Liara love interest, Paragon (mostly, to about 80%, at least in ME1 that is) and with the Colonist and Ruthless character profiles.
That saved game will be the one I'll use first in ME3 as my own personal "cannon" ME trilogy Shepard story, both other Shepards I have will be "extras" to see different cut-scenes and different dialog options. But, in the end I STILL can barely stand the Male Shep's voice acting even in ME2, and ESPECIALLY not as a Renegade, but again that's just my opinion.

@ Lyrandori again,
Awesome. My "main" Shep was actually my 2nd run through in ME2, but he stayed true to Ash and so forth. I get it. Kudos for keeping with a "true" Shep.
