Wouldn't mind hair on her; shorter than Kelly's but longer then Shepards.

Oh, and maybe lose the tattoos.

i actually like jack a whole lot :)

*spoiler about jack romance ahead... you have been warned*

if you're a male shepard, try to get to know her, even.. romance her.. and you will find out, that she's actually just a very hurt young woman, who lost her first real love because he sacreficed himself to save her.. that hurt her so much thay she didn't want to risk it again... poor girl :/

*spoiler end :D*

OT... to hell with the hair :P she's so well made that it doesn't matter :)

A strong woman is one who carries themselves with dignity even in the face of adversity. There is no dignity in Jack, only fear, which makes her a rather sad character to know.

Exacly, maybe my definition(of a strong woman) was shalow but thats were I wanted to go.

It's all a clever ruse, good sir!  Clan Urdnot, under the brilliant leadership of Wrex is merely lulling you squishies of the galaxy into a false sense of security under the pretense of withdrawing to rebuild our shattered race.

Well, pretense may be the wrong word, for rebuild we shall.  Rebuild we shall...

But you squishies will be sorry once the rebuilding is complete and we stop with the withdrawing part!

Jack is even needier then tali as a chick.   And its not the "cute nerd girl needy".    And if you don't satisfy that, she's liable to shoot a chair into your skull at 200 kph.

meh.     <3 Morinth and Miranda though.    I like tali as a friend though.

Jack&Kelly=nothx.

Oh he is and will continue to be, right up until you finish taking care of all that "Reaper" nonsense for us.  Remember, it's a "clever" ruse, not just a ruse.  Wrex knows when to wait... and when to strike!

Like Troy Polomalau hair?

Seriously though my wife is a strong woman, determined, caring, strong willed, independent, and loving (a brief list so I dont bore everyone as I could carry on for awhile in the same vain)

Jack is the complete opposite, and absolute mess of a woman.

My wife is much more the quiet confidence of a Tali- will always be with me through everything despite the odds, a real woman. As Ronin Raver describes. (although she has Miranda-ish personality at times not afraid to speak her mind one bit)

People stop the arguing about if women are or aren't equal to men. It's not that hard to get your fact straight.

NO, women are NOT equal to men when it comes to physical performance. I man's body is simply stronger and more capable than a woman's body.

YES, women ARE equal to men in all other aspects, such as the law, human rights and intelligence.

Ever been hit by a Navy golden gloves boxing champ, all cut up and ready to throw down after you bumped into him accidentally on the way to mess, because he got his "Dear John" letter the night before?  I have.

Ever been hit by a 5'2" 98lb South Korean woman after passing out at a friend's apartment and forgetting to call her to let her know your flight arrived safely?  I have.

Little Ms. Nguyen sure knew how to snap-to at the end of a swing let me tell you, and it hurt a lot more.  No, it wasn't just my pride, my jaw couldn't handle chewing steak for a week.

But funny anecdotes aside, lifting deadweight from a standstill a male will have an advantage, in general.  Distance running, while trained men and women utilizing the proper technique expend about the same amount of energy, I've never seen a female runner tap out before her male competitors.  Advantage:  X chromosome.
The list of physical activities goes on forever, and you will find if you look hard enough that males do not dominate to exclusion females over all events considered.

What I think you meant to say is that in the areas you consider to be important enough to measure physical prowess, men seem have the advantage.  I don't doubt this is the case.  But having personally trained and trained with members of both sexes over a span of years, I have to conclude that this is a case of a narrow view of the situation, rather than a stable conclusion based upon taking in all evidence.

PS:  Go squeeze a nine pound ham out of somewhere on your person sometime, let me know how it goes.  If you admit NOTHING else, admit that a female's tolerance for pain is greatly superior to our own.  I tear up when I get a paper-cut.  Last I checked, pain tolerance is a physical attribute.  "Stronger and more capable" my quad.

Personally, I'd like Jack to grow hair in the third game only if you romanced her with the paragon path. That way, it'd be symbolic of Jack slowly healing with the help of Shep. It would make the character seem more dynamic to see her change like that. And the players would definitely get a good feeling knowing that they had a positive impact on the character's life.

...

And because I'm not attracted to bald chicks.

I might find her a little bit more attractive with hair, but it's still her obnoxious attitude that puts me off.

I think Jack would look great with hair, but the lack of hair isn't really a minus with her. I think she was given a really beautiful face to offset some of the aversion to bald ladies some people might have had.

A shallow question I know, but I noticed how unpopular she is and wondered what the reasons were especially when I compared her to Miranda. I know most people liked Miranda for her .. appearance and character second.  But what if Jack had a full head of hair, would that change her preconceptions ?

Also, if she was to grow her hair in the second game, what hair style would she have ? Which colour would suit her ?

Not a shallow question--we're all socialized to accept certain standards of beauty.  My own two cents: Jack having no hair and being covered in tattoos makes her appearance revolting.

To me.

Jack's unpopular because people hear "****, you're a ****", and refuse to ever talk to her again, thinking that's all Jack is.

It's pretty silly.

Hair would definitely throw off the image we already have of Jack. It's because she has a shaved head most are inclined to think she'd look really weird with hair.

I don't like her personality or her tatoos so hair won't change anything for me.
