No one complains about the asari's lack of hair.

No tatoos and hair, then maybe she'd be more popular.
Tatoos and a buzzcut dont do it for me.

Am I the only guy who doesn't care about the shaved head? I'll admit I think she would look sexier with some hair but its not a big deal. Having some hair on your head doesn't make you look much more feminine imo if anything the shaved head brings out her girly facial features more.

To those who hated her for her looks, yes. For everyone else who didn't like her I doubt it.

I disliked both her looks and her emotional presentation. I'd like her more if she had a decent head of hair, but I actually thought her reason for keeping it made a weird sort of sense, for the character. Joined a cult, shaved her head, got out of said cult in a violent fashion, kept the haircut because why the **** not. Plus, everyone knows that the less hair you have the more psychic powers you have, it's to keep her biotics in tip-top shape.

Jack already has great hair; your argument is invalid

Jack is alot like Ashley in ME1. Shes a character that doesn't sit there and fawn over your character nonstop, so people don't like her, or really make the effort to open up the dialogue more to get to the more interesting bits.

Exactly. I guess most people just want the girl they're talking with to fall in love with them right off the bat and for them to do all the work, like Tali. Jack is a breathe of fresh air because she is more realistic in that she doesn't instantly fall in love with Shepard and she even tries to push him away. Every other female squadmate you can have a romance with is boring because they openly admit their interest in you right off the bat. What's the fun in that?

I really like Ashley in ME1, and I agree that Jack is a decent portrayal of someone who has been through some horrific ****, but her personality is still pretty unattractive, and she seems like too much of a loose cannon for a sensible Shep to allow on the ship.

It's her attitude. I don't care what she has been through before, unless she has been spaced and lain dead for 2 years, I've had it worse. I'm Shepard. I save the galaxy from giant super robot gods, solve the problems of everyone I meet, slaughter my way through the masses of whoever is dumb enough to oppose me and make any member of the opposite sex weak in the knees. She doesn't show the proper respect. She even believes she can take me in a fight. If reapers and thresher maws can't take me out, what chance does she have? Right off the bat I offer to take her off a busted ship for a mission to save the galaxy and she gives me crap.
This is a tough choice.
1. Die in horrible ship crash/explosion/lack of life support.
2. Join me in important mission with ours and every other species on the line.
What does she make me do? Bargain. I figure her continued existence is payment enough. Quite frankly, I probably would have shot her or left her to her fate. Who knows, maybe in 2 years Cerberus would have put her back together.
