I had not seen this problem until this morning (2-12 early am) prior to downloading the update from this morning (which did not fix it).

The only thing i can thnk of is that somehow, downloading the Cerberus Armor and m22 shotgun bugged the game.

After i DL'd the new stuff, i loaded a couple saved games and equipped the shotguns on people, and went to captain's quarters to look at the armor. Didn't really play the game yesterday other than that. This morning after i did some mining, maybe an hour or so at most, on my latest "main" playthrough (infiltrator) i went to create a new soldier, because i wanted to change her face. After i created her and played through the first mission, i deleted the other career. Then i switched back to my infiltrator and played some more. I noticed my saved game was gone, no autosave, no save 1, just the "restart" for hte last mission i did, which meant i had lost a couple hours of playing, since i did some shopping and mining after that last mission. So i started trying to figure out what was happening.

If i delete a save game on one career, and it doesnt actually delete, it has deleted that same slot on a different career. I lost all but 1 of my saves aside from the restart mission ones.

Also of note, if i select a save and overwrite, it does not work, it makes a new one anyway. Cluttering up the load screen. I tried to delete a save 1 and it didnt remove it, so i looked and the 3rd of my careers is missing it's "Save 1" which was the only one left since the previous screw-up had already removed the auto save for that career.

Not a huge deal for me, since i haven't done a lot last few days, but it made me stop playing today, and i was looking forward to at least progressing much further with my infiltrator. I don't want to screw up my vanguard (the one i finished on) because the last mission was a pain and i've done a few more shopping and some mining (probably only a couple hours or so) of play after i completed the game, and i don't want to lose that. Luckily that save 1 or autosave is safe (forget which, but one was there aside from restart.

The first time was when i tried to delete the auto save on the new soldier, either before or right after deleting the soldier career i replaced. I like to delete autosaves when i stop playing, so i know the Save 1 was the most recent. Helps keep things straight since i have 4 to 6 careers at a time (trying out all the classes since finishing it a couple times) When i tried to delete the autosave it acted like it worked, but the auto save was still there, so i did it a 2nd time, still nothing. Didn't think much of it, but i switched careers and noticed no autosave, also not that unusual since sometimes i delete them myself before quitting or switching careers. So i restarted the xbox and there was an update like there is most mornings. Hoped that might fix it, but then the same thing happened when i tried to delete after the overwrite didnt work, and i didnt want to have a bunch of saves. Tried to delete the save 1 on my infiltrator and it deleted the save 1 on the new soldier i had just made.
