so whats the deal with this error i keep getting it
any way to avoid it or fix it with out re downloading the game

That same problem happened with my wife and not even reinstalling the game would fix it. Luckily I made a disk image of my wife's hard drive before she installed DAO. Seems the misconfiguration issue affects the Windows Registry which does not get fixed even upon game reinstallation. As far as I can see you might have to reinstall Windows to fix your game.

it seems to of fixed it self by reinstalling the game 50 million times lmao
