I just ran through the numbers for statistical significance and these are the results:
Percentage of people who voted for Tali giving a score of 3 or less to Ashley: 12.72%
Percentage of a random sample of people who gave a score of 3 or less to Ashley: 15.4%
Percentage of another random sample of people who gave a score of 3 or less to Ashley: 16.9%
According to the Two-proportion z-test, there is no statistical significance between these percentages.
THERE IS NO CONSPIRACY WHATSOEVER. THE NUMBERS SUPPORT IT!
no, I looked myself, and we must be looking at different things. and last I checked those percentages are significant. Which means 1 out of every 9-10 people (er Tali fans) are skewing results. You tell me that isn't significant if your calculations are right.
Deltaboy, do some real math instead of staring at the numbers in hopes that your eyes alone can discern the truth.
If you can prove me wrong while also using the two-proportion z-test, then by all means, try.
If that was a lame attempt at a joke, then I'll indulge you...haha...ha.....h....mmmkay. anyway. math is actually what I'm doing, your using the easy way out, uh...yeah was it SPSS???
So when speaking of math, do try doing some yourself before accusing another of NOT using it. Either way, I see you yourself are not hiding anymore. I see you quite often in the Tali thread , but I won't go there....nevermind, so it comes as no surprise that you have picked up your weapon now.
Anyway, I'm gonna let this go, because I think enough people see the truth, which was my only objective. Se laters, and good luck with the Talimance self esteem issues. good luck with her romantic return in ME3 too. It's funny how this has been playing out... to everyone else, just keep an eye out for your local Talimancer, they can get rather vicious and tenacious at trying to "make" her return at all costs, even if that means bashing your favorite character. Oh noooes, no one can like anyone other than TALI11!!!11!!
OMG I'm outta here. have fun.
I don't whether to laugh or cry.
And I actually did the two-proportion z-test by hand. Want to know my confidence interval? It was 95%. Want to know the z-score? It was 0.041. I bet you don't even know what that means.
And you claimed you were a finance major in college... Yeah, right.
Ohh so your true colors are coming out too eh? you guys are comming out of the crevices and corners aren't ya?
anyway, for you to attack my math skills and my ability to understand what a z-score is.
I'll indulge you:
actual definition:
A statistical measure (simply put)
My definition (laymans term) :
A z-score is a method use to measure data, by basically telling how a single data point compares to normal data.
I figure I needed to add that ^ before my next statement.
Yeah, I am actually 1 year away from my masters, so consider this a courtesy that I indulged you little undergrad, since we're throwing around insults.
good luck with your "z-score11!!!11" just because you know what it means doesn't mean you used it properly you newborn.
Oh yeah and take some classes on insults and take an extra class on originality while you're at it.
Lastly, to your vert first statement, you might as well laugh, this thread is full of funny. I'm laughing, so join me.
