Deltaboy is not some guy getting his Master's. He once claimed somewhere in this forum that was majoring in finance. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any finance major with as poor a grasp of statistics that he has. He never even uses terms like standard deviation or coefficient of variation in his posts when talking about the survey and its results... He's just another kid, as we can discern from his very username.
Anyways, I think I will release the statistics on this survey next week in a comprehensive report... Anyone with more knowledge of statistics than I do (I have only taken AP Statistics in high school) is welcome to publish their own interpretations of the data. I will shut down the survey by tomorrow.
In all seriousness, I am actually a Finance Major finishing my Masters (all jokes aside). It's one thing to attack me from a gaming fans point of view, but I have no reason to lie about my schooling. Just because I don;t use the terms you deem sufficient for a survey, doesn't mean I don't have a finance degree. To me this wasn't that important to put that much time consumption into it. Actually in finance we analyze more financial data, which has almost nothing to do with surveys, but instead financial statements, trend analysis for which we use horizontal and vvertical analytics, also cash flow statement analysis, balance sheet, stockholders equity and things like that, so if you are seriously gonna make an assumption like the one you made, please try to make sure you are right based on more solid evidence than you used. It seems like your just into personal attacks rather than making a factual point.
