Okay, besides the N7 armor i have the terminus, Blood dragon, Collector, and soon Cerebus assault. My question is which is the best, including a fully upgraded N7 set?

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. I personally used various N7 pieces for max damage later in the game. Early in the game I would either use a combination of N7 pieces for max health/shield or use the DLC armors.

IMO the Cerberus armor is the best all around for the +10% HP and Shields. If you get all the heavy weapons upgrades then the Cerberus armor with its +10% Heavy Weapon ammo will also let you have two shots of the Cain.

N7 can give you %10 health and shields too. Sentry Interface and shield harness, then the life support legs.

that still leaves you with shoulders and arms, which is why I think N7 is always the best. (it can also be modified for the most shields or health in the game)

not to mention it gives you the most unique bonuses, making it suitable for any class.

N7 is supposed to be better when fully upgraded. besides... having a helmet welded to your head sucks.

You can never top Blood Dragon Armor for Power Damage (and it has nice shields besides), and Terminus Armor is the best for shields until you do the Collector ship (and even still is the best you can do for shields if you want any bonus BUT shields on your armor as well). N7 Armor is the only way to buff Weapon Damage though, and wins for Health as well.

N7 armor. Not only is it the most flexible armor in the game, it also looks the best.

What I use for maximum protection:

Sentry Interface 5% Shields

Asynmetric Defense Layer 5% Health

Capacitator Chestplate 5% Shields

Heavy Damping Gauntlets 5% Shields

Life Support Webbing 10% Health

Total 15% Shields 15% Health

You can tweak it for more health or shields but I think this setup provides the best balanced protection in game.

^You mean the Shield Harness in the chest slot. Academic, I know, but it's the difference between being available after Freedom's Progress and being available after the Collector ship.

They need to add a proboscis to the DLC armours so my Shepard doesn't look like such a tool when he is imbibing at various bars etc. A windscreen wiper would be just as good though.

I would love it if you could remove the helmet on the DLC armours. I hate it when you go to a bar for shots and Shepard drinks through the helmet -_-

Also I think it doesn't match when you're wearing a helmet and the rest of your team isn't, looks kinda odd.

yep getting the ability to remove the helmet on all the armors when out of combat would be very cool

i mean its not that bad but we had that ability in the first game .... not to mention a few dozen visually compelling armors....without the need to get them downloaded :\\
