You need to read the poster near the locked gate to the alienage in the market district.

The griffins will rise again...or something like that.

It's also part of the Trial of Crows quest line, activated by talking to Master Ignacio in the Market District and asking him if he needs any help.

You can actually do it as a stand-alone mini-quest without ever speaking to Master Ignacio, but you do have to read the poster in the Market District for the correct password to appear in your dialogue options.

Yes, I wandered into Master Ignacio later on and found out I'd already completed the quest. I'm finding it a little strange in Denerim that the shady quests so far (two for Slim Coudry and the first Crows quest) have all been appropriate for "good" characters. Stealing from Arl Howe (and killing his thugs) and killing people who are trying to kill off Grey Wardens and their supporters doesn't exactly present much of a moral dilemma.

That's a bad thing?  I think it is more interesting to approach it as a "good" character, actually.  Approaching the Crows after they tried to kill you and finding out they are actually working for your cause (with someone behind the scenes directing them, of course) is more dramatic, IMO, than your character just taking time out of the Blight to be a baddie for fame and profit.

It amuses me that no one protests the body dumps in the Chantry well.

I'm with AnniLau, Wynne and Alistair and Leliana all stand and watch while you dump bodies into the Chantry's well. Which is possibly their drinking water. And they say nothing - zilch, zip, nada. Both amusing and - strange.

Heh--I wondered that, too, as well as how my slender elven mage lass could heft 3 bodies at once!

The Trial of the Crows and Crime Wave quests may be doable by good characters, but the Favors for Interested Parties quests take an uglier bent.

You put them in your backpack, of course.

Unless you're doing the trial of the crows, then read the poster by the gate.

I find the body dump quest the completely ridiculous given the trail of bodies you leave all over Denerim. I did it concurently with the second crime wave heist so went into the warehouse, slaughtered Howe's men, bodies everywhere, then I have to dispose of this one body. Why not just leave it with the others, who would notice.
