When I try to start the Dragon age: origins - content updater it gives me an Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

I tried using the fix already listed on this forum going to my windows.net files and searching for the installer, but it wasn't there. I guessed this might be because of the fact that I copied my files from my laptop to my pc in order to quickly do a steam install. But when I searched my laptop for the same file, I couldn't find it there either (maybe becasue I never ran the game on the laptop yet).

Thus I'm stuck with no option to download my DLC, nor to start the service, nor to install it.

If anyone knows what to do I'ld be most grateful.

You could try the beta fix it might install the service for you.

Otherwise I think you will need to do a full reinstall to make sure you get all the correct files on your computer.

This combined with the registry edit made the service run, hope this solves my problem.
