Apparently this issue was supposed to have been fixed for 17 days now.
I have a ticket open with EA support, which has not helped at all.  They recommended re-downloading the DLC.
WTF?!  How could that possibly help anything.

 I have redeemed the codes I got, which gave me the DLC but the game cannot authenticate it so I cannot play with it.

Is there anyone at Bioware or EA who feels responsible for fixing this?

Next time I will certainly not buy the special edition of the game.  I have played through several times now without special items.  What a waste of money that was.
