Hi guys, First let me say, I've beaten ME2 on my xbox 8 times, including on insanity. I just bought the game for PC and I want to know how to cheat for minerals. I am hoping this is not in violation of the forum rules, i don't want to do anything other than avoid scanning.
Is there a console command like halflife or doom? can anyone explain how i can get free minerals? thanks!

can anyone link me to a faq that explains how to edit mineral info? i looked up gibbed me2 save editor but the faq/txt to explain doesn't say anything about minerals. any kind of specific explanation would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You can just open up your savegame, enter in the ammount of each mineral you want next to the name of the mineral, then save, load the save and you should have it.

As much as i am tempting to find resource cheats i decided this time not go in that way and still in my current play Normandy is fully reffited whit new armor, shields and guns (necessary for final mission) and most weapons also have rather high level of upgrading (even if i start serious resource digs very late.)
But key is to delay aquiring IFF device from dead reaper as long as you feel necessary because after that mission clock start ticking and attack on Normandy can happened any time.
Beside scanning for minerals is not that hard job as was in ME1 (Mako surface travels)...

Yeah I beat the game start to end a bunch of times and I was not looking forward to more scanning. I too use a save game editor so that the only thing I have to scan for are anomalies.

True, but its still not interesting to mine for 2 hours (yes, I counted based on how long it took for me to mine the 'max you'll need' given by this thread: http://social.biowar...05/index/888565)
