I'm on my second playthrough, playing on hardcore.  When I played the first time, on veteran, every time I opened a valve for the teammate I sent through the ventilation shaft, the health timer reset.  Is it not supposed to reset on hardcore?  I can only get 3 out of 8 valves open before they die.  This seems impossible! 

Edit:  Well, I feel stupid.  I was just overlooking a valve.
