When ya get more grasp of art stuff, search through this Thread for the links to Paint.NET, & Gimp. Paint.NET is useful for modifying images, (i.e. I took Stanley Woo's Avatar & manually recolored his eyes from it's prior yellows to the new reds, A.k.a. improving it.) & Gimp is useful for animating GIFs.
I still have a lot to learn about wielding both Paint.NET & GIMP's art force powers.
Oh, one last thing, PNG rules for non-animated Pics & GIF rules for animated Pics. Paint.NET & GIMP also have native file types used specially by that program & they're useful for saving unfinished work if ya aren't able to get it done in one go.
