If you have her, Kasumi tackles the vents like a pro - which is appropriate. Frees you up to bring the double drones on the run if you want to.

You only need four loyalties (but who those loyalties are is what matters) to get everyone through the suicide mission. Also you need the upgrades. If you still are not sure, get everything you want to get done BEFORE the Reaper IFF mission. Then after that you will have time to do Legions loyalty mission. I'd consider the Reaper IFF the point fo no return. Of course after the game you are able to complete any side mission or loyalty mission you didn't complete before the suicide mission.

Seems like everywhere I look recently, I'm discussing the suicide mission.

If you recruit all twelve squadmates, you need six loyal to bring them all out alive.

If you recruit eleven squadmates (the eleventh being Zaeed, not Kasumi), you need five loyal to bring them all out alive.

If you recruit ten squadmates (such as Thane and Kasumi, but recruiting Zaeed), you need four loyal to bring them all out alive.

And aside from picking the right specialists for the job, you need to leave behind the right people to hold the line at the end as well.

For me I used this setup and got everyone alive, except kelly and the crew because I was doing other missions at the time/ didn't know.



First Fire Team : Miranda

First Specialist : Legion



Second Specialist : Jack

Second Fire Team : Miranda



Person to return the crew : I used Jacob

Yes quite possible indeed. Wonce you recruit Legion, do his loyalty mission and then the Normandy is attacked. Do not say "we are not ready yet" Say "Lets go get our crew back". Then go straight to the Omega 4 Relay and do not do anything else.

Always use Mordin to escort the crew back to the Normandy. Since he is the weakest.

In order from Greatest to least.

Grunt
Zaeed
Garrus
Jacob
Legion
Samara
Thane
Miranda
Jack
Kasumi
Tali
Mordin

Miranda is a good leader pick her.

Garrus should be your next leader.

Legion, Kasumi, and Tali are good for infiltration.

Jack or Samara for the Biotic bubble part. Please don't think about Jacob.

You can have Mordin holding the line and still have him live if you're smart about it. Or you could take him to the final battle. It's not required that he be the escort just so he can live.

I used Garrus as the team leader, Legion for the door, and Grunt and Legion for the last mission and all survived. You can use Samara and Jack - both will make it to the door!

The Kelly and her "special outfit" thing will only occur should the romance character you picked die, or should you have not picked a romance at all.

I had Kasami die on the first run through, then nobody died on the 2nd.



1st Specialist: Tali

1st Team: Me, Jack, and Grunt

1st Secondary Team: Miranda as leader

2nd Specialist: Samara

Team: Jacob and I forget

2ndary team (if there was one - I forget): I picked Miranda again

Returner: Mordin

Final Team: Jack and Miranda

Door Guard leader: Thane



Wound up with one person in sick bay after the whole fiasco.
