The point of this thread: To play around in the *.ini files in order to tweak the graphical settings of Dragon Age: Origins. I'm no expert on the matter, so I'm hoping this will become a thread compiled by the community with lots of useful information. I will keep the first post updated with any information found by myself and others.

So far the only *.ini I found to edit in order to tweak the graphical settings is located in 'My Documents' folder. That said it also doesn't have very many options. The path looks something like:

C:\\Users\\Jane123\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings

Jane123 being replaced by whatever your user name happens to be.
The file we are editing is the DragonAge.ini one.

When you open it up you have a few options you can force on. Don't use the quotation marks when making changes, they're just for emphasis on the forums. All these options are at the very first part of the DragonAge.ini file.

Antialiasing doesn't seem able to recognize anything past '8'.
Trilinear Flitering can be enabled here. Change the value to '1' for on or '0' for off.
Triple Buffering can be enabled here. Change the value to '1' for on or '0' for off.
Anisotropic Filtering can be pushed up to '16'.

You can also disable the intro movies here.
Change the value of Disable Intro Movies from '0' to '1'.

Other than the basics I haven't found anything else. I'm hoping some other people with more knowledge than I can play around more. A Depth of Feild option, shadow quality option and far clipping plain option would be wonderful if anyone can find them.

I hope this post helps.
