Looking at the data from Gibbed's Save Editor, I notice that the difficulty level for my current character on Insanity is level 5. However, there is another option, level 6. I assume this is even more insane? Has anyone tried this difficulty level yet? I think I'll do a run after I finish my current game.

That's just for PC users (am I right?) but wow Insanity itself is pretty challenging for me o__o

Level 6 = Insanity mode, but you play as Joker and die in 1 hit.  You also get no weapons, biotics, or tech.

We still have melee attacks right? Though I assume Joker can only dish out one melee attack per arm. hahaha.

Yep, for PC. The only thing in Insanity is that Harbinger is such a pain in the ***.

It's NG+ replay insanity

Level 6 = You, by yourself, in an arena crammed full of Husks, all of whom have Health, Armor, Shields, and a Barrier. Oh, and you only have one shot for your Heavy Weapon. And the crowd watching you is made up of nothing but Scions.

Can my heavy weapon be the Cain?  Cuz I'm pretty sure I'd win that fight

This is likely correct. For some reason playing NG+ feels like you're up one difficulty level than whatever you set it on.

Not really. It is a lot harder from the start, but as soon as you start getting the upgrades, it is pretty much the same as regular insanity (well, at least I have not noticed any other differences)

Actually, you're stuck inside the Cain's blast radius, so firing it would kill you, too.

I thought NG+ insanity was hard because you started without upgrades....



I really didn't take in account theres a hidden super insanity.
