I am sorry for the poor devs:

when everybody was playing ME1 it was a constant whine about elevators and mako drives.
They don't put both things in ME2 to make player satisfied and now i can read dozens of posts of people complaining they miss mako drives and elevators.

Now i see a lot of people complaining about planet scanning, and you know what, if they will change it in ME3 people will whine they miss it

For me, who LOVED elevators and mako drives, and who is HAVING FUN with planet scanning, all of this seems a revenge...

Now listen to me devs: just do another game as beautifull as ME1/2, with deep storytelling and lore, and people will play it even if you make them descend on planets by elevators, and manually scan the entire planet surface on a mako.

Although there is no reason for another post, I agree with you many people are just ungrateful.Both ME1 and ME2 are amazing games and I am sure ME3 will be even better!

Yea, see, if people really miss ME1 that much, why not play it? Your saves DO carry over! In fact, I'm playing ME1 right now!
