That we know of.

I mean, we've only seen earth-birds. Nobody has seen space-birds. And the platypus is a good example of a monotreme that has characteristics of both birds and mammals.

Mammary glands are excusive to mammal, it's were we get the word "mammal" from. That and based on the evolution of birds, any thing that can way a bird down in flight has been thrown out like certin extended sexual organs for males, duel deposits for waste and mamary glands. Though land based only male bird do have extended male organs, the females still lay eggs and if turians are an extention of birds and reptiles then their not going to have boobs.

I don't recall seeing any flying Turians in either game. Except the ones on the Normandy, of course.

This is a good point. Maybe turian females will also be duller in color then their male counterparts?

Hard for the Turians to be duller, I'd expect that more for Salarians, seeing as the males tend to be brightly colored (bright, in comparison to the turians, and the monotonic asari)

I have no idea where that guy found it.

I love the look. They look like thinner versions of the males, but still look very much female. Also if we can't have female turian models still in ME3. Can we at least have one as a squad mate. A female Turian Specter would be awsome.

But they are gonna turn it into a romance option we gotta have something.;)

You want to do what with it. They have hard skin. You can get away with having one insert it in you, but putting "it' in them would.....hurt.Image IPB

Then just ask mordin for an upgrade:lol:

I'm not attracted to the design personally, but I agree with the consensus that is a pretty good design and actually what I would expect female Turians to look like.

Good job to whomever was the artist.

I like the concept - very solid! :) We definitely need Turian female presence in ME3 considering their women are as gung-ho and able-bodied as human women.

Their already comfermed to be Ave.

Where? Source please. Never heard of it.

Turians typically stand over six feet tall, have two long, proportionately thick fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, each tipped with talons, and a set of mandibles around their mouths. The most distinguishing feature of turians is their metallic carapace, which is a result of their evolution (see below). Turian features are avian, making them resemble humanoid birds or raptors

I actually think they even more so than human females. That is why it makes no sense that we have yet to see at least one of them.

If that's true, it makes the lack of female Turians make even less sense.

How does "Turian features are avian, making them resemble humanoid birds or raptors" states they are taxonomical avians? Resemble=/= ARE AVIANS. Just my opinion.

I would go mor for reptilians, but it's BW call. And they did not specify. Funny. In ME 2 codex there is only a biology of mettalic skin. Not even one mention about their ancestors. I still think has yet to think about Turians females. Now that there is a romance with Garrus, they have even more problems. LOL

Regardless if their Avian or not, Reptiles are extremly similair to Birds anyways. They may be across of both.  Regardless they both don't have the exclusive mammal parts.

Just... from a Turian standard, those hips wouldn't be "supportive" enough.
More hips. Definitely more hips.

Good concept though.
