But looking at the Turian biology and their psychology eggs just make perfect sense. A mother being hindered by pregnancy can't work. And then she hast to care for some time for the child. However, if they lay eggs, it would reduce that time to a minimum and the turian child could develop further, so when it hatches it would already be able to handle itself, for some time. The culture is all about "make yourself usefull!" so that would fit in pretty good.

Turians having cloacas and laying eggs just would make sense.
Turian in 2:20 disagrees. With cloaca you wouldn't be able to use toilet like that=] Beside that you made some excellent points.
Anyway, however they figure it out I would like to see some females of other species...

Krogan females should be larger stronger and more intelligent than Krogan males. It mimics reptilian species on earth and would be one H*** of a curveball.

Think of Turian as space Ostriches/Dinasaurs. And Ostriches have one inside of them.korraz wrote...
Hmyeah, because of that and Garrus' story, the maybe have some sort of retractable/expandable organ to to that sort of jobs

Turians typically stand over six feet tall, have two long, proportionately thick fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, each tipped with talons, and a set of mandibles around their mouths. The most distinguishing feature of turians is their metallic carapace, which is a result of their evolution (see below). Turian features are avian, making them resemble humanoid birds or raptors

Since Garrus is LI I think Turians should have at least some mammallian traits...Otherwise it would be akward...Not much common ground for sexual attraction there.
I haven't romanced Garrus, but I think he only gets that head-bumping. He may have that Ostrich-Thing.
But isn't romancing a insect-bird with mandibles and a carapace awkward in the first place? I can't really see how you can be attracted at something as that. Likewise, a Turian wouldn't be attracted to a squishy and weak human. Yes, Shepard proves that she is a good fighter, but compared to a Turian shes still squishy. But okay, if in fact Shepard AND Garrus are pretty weird, they can fall in love. But that does NOT mean that Turians need mammallian traits. If you fall in love with an insectoid-dinosaurbird of a steel-like carapace, I don't think it will break down at the means of reproduction...
I'm pretty pissed I can't bromance Garrus any more with my FemShepards any more...

Isn't there one by the Shaman? I have a hard time seeing why the female clan would have a male ambassador.

You can you just don't have to romance him, simple as that.It then plays out the same way as the male shepard equivalent.

I object. Hanar are even squishier than humans and I've caught Garrus looking at rude Hanar pics in Fornax.

Yes. You can tell by the voice as well... if the whole "The ambassador to the female clans doesn't have to talk to aliens" wasn't enough.

Yeah. Hanar romance FTW.
The devs used obvious logic: Asari looks almost like human females. Turians are attracted to Asari, hence there will be attracted to human females. Asari are squishy and are mammals - no problem for Turians. It is not so illogical to make it work, still I want to see how they will resolve this in ME3. Intruiging.

Isn't bromance by definition between males? You want femshep to have bromance?

Agree with this comment. I mean, we don't need boobs to make something feminine. Just make the female sleeker, at least if we assume that turians are sexually dimorphic in a similar fashion to humans.
If a bird is the model them the female should be less colorful compared to the males.

You are thinking in terms of earth animals. In their species the females could attracted the males with their bright colors. People need to understand that the other races in ME aren't from Earth. Because Turian look like birds , doesn't mean they are. We have no idea how they reproduce, or attracted one another.ehcaba wrote...
