Hold on there Skippy, birds don't have boobs!

Agree with this comment. I mean, we don't need boobs to make something feminine. Just make the female sleeker, at least if we assume that turians are sexually dimorphic in a similar fashion to humans.

If a bird is the model them the female should be less colorful compared to the males.

You are thinking in terms of earth animals. In their species the females could attracted the males with their bright colors. People need to understand that the other races in ME aren't from Earth. Because Turian look like birds , doesn't mean they are. We have no idea how they reproduce, or attracted one another.

The way they reproduce might be the same or close to the way Humans do, I doubt Femshepard and Garrus would have been able to do anything if Garrus didn't have a.. you know what.

Well that was more just the act of sex. Mordin points out that it can work. But we don't know how Turian are with other Turian, They seem to be a lot like humans as far as sex goes.

Reproducing is mating habits and having kids. Sex is just that....sex.

Well, according to Garrus, Turian would compliment a female turians Head Fringe or waist. So.......
"Your hair is nice and your waist........*Looks down *.....Is VERY supportive.Posted Image

Pretty good looking design all in all. Btw a little while back someone said that the females should have less fringe than guys. Garrus says complimenting a women's fringe is extremely common, so it stands to reason that there would be a lot of it or that it would be very distinctive.

Also as a point of interest, sexual dimorphism in birds varies from breed to breed. For example, with blackbirds, the male is black and the female is a dull brown. Other birds, like ptarmigan, change their colour dependent upon the season. Budgies have similar colouration, and the only way you can determine the gender visually is to look at the ceres. In many parrots, such as poicephalus, there's no guaranteed way to visually determine the gender -- it has to be done by DNA testing. Birds also don't see colour/light the same way we do. To look at a starling you'd think "plain, speckled bird", but if you saw it as another starling saw it, it would be like a rainbow of blue and purple and green (also the reason why many dark birds have iridescent feathers... it's even more vivid for the birds than it is for us). Birds have evolved in different ways, dependent upon their environment. You can't really compare Turians to "birds" in general, because there are too many different types.

Turians definately remind me of birds, it's those eyes and theres somethign very birdlike, albeit alien in their looks. I think that female turian looks cute and id imagine they look something like that.

Infact the first time I saw Garrus I had this image of a parrot when i looked at him for some reason.

I really hope they don't just throw some breasts on a turian and pass it off as a female turian.
