Finally got around to confirming the 'Shepard dies' playthrough that I posted before.

All 11 loyalty missions completed. Normal recruitment mission order.

-----------------
Final Survivors: Joker, Dr. Chakwas
-----------------

Loyals: Jack, Grunt, Garrus, Mordin, Jacob, Legion, Thane
Non-loyals: Miranda, Zaeed, Samara, Tali
Normandy Upgrades: None

-Delay as much as possible going into the Omega-4 relay to kill crew
-Side with Jack during the Miranda/Jack fight
-Mess up Zaeed's loyalty by rescuing the workers but not Charm-ing his loyalty back
-Mess up Samara's loyalty by meeting with Morinth and picking all the wrong answers
-Mess up Tali's loyalty by handing over the evidence
-Take Tali and Legion with you to fight the Oculus (Thane and Garrus die)

Vents - Jacob (dies)
Fire Team Leader - Any
Biotic - Non-loyal Samara (bring Miranda and Grunt, Grunt dies)
Second Fire Team Leader - Legion (dies)
Escort - Zaeed (dies)
Final boss squadmates - Miranda and Samara (both die)
Distraction Team - Mordin, Tali (both die)
Running back to Joker - Shepard dies

Deaths:
Jack - No Armor Upgrade, laser beam'd
Thane - No Shield Upgrade, incinerated
Garrus - No Weapon Upgrade, impaled
Jacob - Rocket to the face
Grunt - Taken by seeker swarm
Legion - Shot while closing second door
Zaeed - Dies escorting the crew
Miranda - Dies at final boss
Samara - Dies at final boss
Mordin - Dies holding the line
Tali - Dies holding the line
Shepard - Dies due to lack of arm strength (even though he can lift Krogan with one hand)

Now to figure out a way to kill Morinth in the process...

Would this work? This is based on the assumption that you can lose Garrus’s Loyalty and the Morinth will die as the second fire team leader.

All 11 loyalty missions completed. Normal recruitment mission order.

-Mess up Tali's loyalty by handing over the evidence

I don't think you can mess up Garrus' loyalty mission.

When you tip Sidonis, you get three options:
1. Charm Garrus back (loyalty)
2. Let Garrus take the shot (loyalty)
3. Back off and let Garrus take the shot (loyalty)

Well, then it would be simple to get him killed just by not upgrading and being sure to take either Legion or Thane with you to fight the Occulus... or maybe take both to ensure that he dies. Hmmm....

If you don’t get the ship upgrades and you take Thane and Tali to the Oculus fight will this result in Garrus and Legion dying? If that is the case then you can have a non-loyal Thane on the collector base to sacrifice.

Not exactly. The Oculus fight only affects who dies in the engineering room. Someone from the Oculus fight can still get impaled. If Thane is on the ship, he will die from the lack of 3 ship upgrades no matter what.

The same way Ugly Shepard did - by terrifying everyone.

The Priority List:

No Armor - Jack
No Shields - Legion -> Tali -> Thane -> Garrus
No Weapon - Thane -> Garrus -> Zaeed

Since you seem to know almost all the answers and have the time to find the ones you don't, I was wondering if you could solve something I'd been curious about.  I want to know more about the Ship Upgrade Death Priority list.

Specifically, say you sell Legion and go on the suicide mission with no upgrades and without recruiting Tali, Zaeed or Thane, then who would die from lacking the weapon upgrade?

The game requires that you have 8 squadmates before the Disabled Collector Vessel mission (that is, before Legion). Plus, Garrus is a mandatory recruit - you have to kill him in order to see the next person on the priority list for no weapons upgrade.

What you can do, however, is skip Thane and Zaeed, and bring Tali and Legion to the Oculus, causing Garrus to die. The next in that list is Grunt.

Therefore:
No Armor - Jack
No Shields - Legion -> Tali -> Thane -> Garrus
No Weapon - Thane -> Garrus -> Zaeed -> Grunt

Of course, I'm assuming you may ask these three questions next:

1. What if I scrap Legion and bring Tali and Garrus to the Oculus?
Zaeed will die from no shields if you recruited him. Garrus will then die from no weapons.

2. What if I didn't recruit Zaeed?
Grunt will die from no shields. Garrus will still die from no weapons.

3. No really, what happens if you did skip Thane, Zaeed, Tali and Legion and brought Garrus (and/or Grunt) to the Oculus?
Samara will die from no shields, then Garrus will yet again die from no weapons. This is unlikely to happen in a normal game, of course.

Grunt and Garrus are mandatory and the No Weapons Upgrade ignores you who take to the Oculus. Thus, no matter what you do, you can't kill anyone past Grunt when Garrus needs to die first.

So, extending the list even further:
No Armor - Jack
No Shields - Legion -> Tali -> Thane -> Garrus -> Zaeed -> Grunt -> Samara
No Weapon - Thane -> Garrus -> Zaeed -> Grunt -> Samara

Miranda, Jacob and Mordin cannot die on the Normandy. They have no voice-recorded death scenes for that part (while the others - including Kasumi - do).

In an interview in the new game informer director Casey Hudson said that if Shepard dies, you won't be able to import that save into ME3. Not sure if anyone has said that yet.

One other thing to take a quick note of - even if you have Mordin survive...he is 50 years old. The salarian average lifetime is ~40 years.

Good implications.

He's in the low 30s, actually.  The 50 is just his age in "human years."  He himself says in game that part of why he opened the clinic is so he can spend the last 10 years of his life without the moral dilemnas he had earlier.

Ecael, you will now have to help us figure out how to kill off Kasumi so that we still have only 2 remaining squadmates.

I actually would like to have Kasumi and Morinth survive in the end (Westerlund News Reporter + Asari succubus!)

Kasumi's death scenes in the final mission are already in the game, so I can already start testing to see if she can die from lack of Armor/Shields/Weapons upgrade.

Going to start working on where Kasumi's place is in holding the line as well as posting the tier list for that part.

For now, we can assume that she's a lot like Tali.

Ok, this is what I have so far for Kasumi, if they don't change it with the DLC:

Normandy Ship Upgrade Deaths
No Armor - Jack
No Shields - Kasumi -> Legion -> Tali -> Thane -> Garrus -> Zaeed -> Grunt -> Samara
No Weapon - Thane -> Garrus -> Zaeed -> Grunt -> Samara

Hold the Line Death List (Weakest first)
1. Mordin
2. Tali
3. Kasumi
4. Jack
5. Miranda

NOTE: Non-loyals will die before loyal squadmates.

UPDATE: Main post is fully updated for all 12 loyalty missions.

Sorry about the multiple bumps, but I'm trying to keep information separate so that it doesn't become a giant wall of unreadable text.

I wish this thread would get a sticky on the forum so people can use it to discuss their suicide mission playthroughs. Only one thread is really direct intervention is necessary for that.
