Not sure what else to add on top of that, other than letting Captain Kirrahe die on Virmire and intentionally screwing up Tali's loyalty mission by handing them the evidence and asking them to go to war against the Geth.
you could have killed off chakwas by not escorting her and forcing her to go by herself.
for the news reporter, you could have made her have you look like a tool by being baited by her disingenious assertions

Slightly off topic, but if Shep (and whoever is alive) has to haul ass to get out of the Collector's base at the end, who collects the bodies to put in the coffins?

the coffins are empty.
in my worst plathru, only shepard and samara made it alive. shepard went for the long jump to the normandy and was holding on for life, but samara wouldnt help me up (LOL!) and i died.
in the end joker was looking at all the coffins and one of them had the N7 logo on it (shepard's). obviosuly there was no time to go find the fallen body before the collector base blew up

I wanted to do that, but I already used up a potential death scene by upgrading the Normandy's cannons (to force Thane's survival). I ran the risk of having 3 squadmates survive instead of 2.Amethyst Deceiver wrote...

Btw I never knew you could get the daughter to join you. I never liked Samara, but I'm guessing me failing the persuasion check with the daughter screwed things up for me.

I plan on letting Shiala live though, because the griefing potential is too great.

I'm curious, what happens if a unloyal Miranda and someone else random are the only people to live? If I'm not mistaken, Miranda will leave your party at the end of the game if you destroy the collector base and she is not loyal.
Seriously? I must try that lol.

She agrees with you no matter what. On my kill-everyone-including-myself playthrough, I took her to fight the giant Terminator with me. She told him she resigns. Then she died.newcomplex wrote...

She always dies if she resigns? Or does the game force agree if she doesn't?
To my knowledge, a loyal jack or thane are the best options to take to the final boss, both have very high "Offensive" scores. Taking them might offset a unloyal Mirands poor offensive skills.

Nice to see it can be done, though - it's a roleplaying game after all.

No, she only dies if she is not loyal and in the final battle team, just as pretty much most non-loyal members I believe do.newcomplex wrote...

To be fair, I also have a fem-Shepard that has the exact opposite of everything I listed - let everyone who could be killed in ME1 or ME2 survive as much as possible.Ieldra2 wrote...
I can only say: I play games for fun. Playing like this would not be fun, it would twist my stomach into knots trying to do all that.

I like seeing the differences that result in each playthrough.

I wasn't planning to do the loyalty missions because I wanted this shepard dead in the end, but after messing Tali's life in her loyalty mission (I gave the evidence during the trial and Tali became traumatized, though she wasn't exiled) I decided to keep doing the loyalty missions to mess with everyone...
Seriously, I never felt so bad in my gaming career after doing what I did to Tali (mostly because I love her)... Anyway, my Jerk Shepard mission to ruin the galaxy continues... I think I'll only save Morith and Tali (how sadistic I'm feeling now, lol).

If Tali is non-loyal (due to ruining her dad's career), you'll probably have to keep Mordin and her alive until the end and have them hold the door. Have Morinth for the final boss or make her the escort. That way, Mordin will die while Tali and Morinth come out unscathed.Lucazius wrote...

I ended up with just Thane and Miranda alive. Hwever, afterwrds, I realized there is an even worse playtrough. The key to this is that if you do Zaeed's loyalty mission after the suicide mission, you have the option to kill him on it (you can leave him to die under te rubble). So if he is one of your only survivors, you can kill him off after the mission too.

Is it possible to do Zaeed's loyalty mission after the suicide run? I assumed that the planet gets locked out after passing through the Omega-4 Relay for that reason.TyDurden13 wrote...
I actually attempted the same thing and posted about it ina topic here.

Next goal: Survive with only 2 teammates while still completing everyone's loyalty missions.
Not sure if that's possible, though.
Well... there is a couple of ways (I was going to only state 1), first would be to only recruit 8 of the potential party members (need 8 for collector ship trap mission unlock). Second would be to recruit the standard 10, do all the loyalty quests but then side with Miranda and Tali/Legion during their fights. Thus you do the missions but end up with 2 non-loyal.
Taking the latter option...
No ship upgrades and no recruiting of Zaeed
Take your non loyal member out of Tali/Legion to the cargohold, this should ensure the other is the one dead when the shields incinerate someone as I believe these 2 are the top 2 candidates for this scene.
3 dead during ship run
Send a poor vent runner into the vents, 4 dead
Don't send anyone back with the crew
Use Miranda as Biotic, 5 dead
Use poor diversion team leader, 6 dead
In theory you should hopefully still have your 2 non-loyals alive. So use them as your final battle team and they should end up dead with your 2 remaining loyal members holding the line surviving.
The former option with just 8 members is pretty much same as above but simply you don't recruit Tali and you send Legion back to Cerberus and it doesn't matter who you take to the cargo hold, when it comes to the final battle all you should have is 2 loyal team mates.
This is naturally just speculation, I've not tried it myself, although was pretty much tempted a while ago to have a playthrough where it ended with just Garrus and Tali alive with Shep just for the fun of killing off the new squadmates, which I will stress I don't hate, I just thought it amusing to have playthrough where the only people to survive were those from ME.
Edit: I would imagine it is possible, be interesting if there is a change of dialogue seeing as he was recruited for the suicide mission
I've got a playthrough where in post-end mission I still have Samara and Tali's dossiers listed in my journal for recruitment. Considering am probably going to restart this playthrough due to a mess I made in the recruitment side of things (didn't realise needed 8 at the time, so am now waiting for kasumi to be unleashed), I'm tempted to go do Samara's mission just to see if there is any change in dialogue considering erm... the mission is over haha.
