Loyal Garrus: 4
Loyal Miranda: 2
Loyal Tali: 1
Unloyal Jack: 0
Unloyal Mordin: 0
That gives an average of 7 in a team of 5. 7 / 5 = 1.4.
0.5 < Average < 1.5 in a team of 5 should kill two people. The unloyal ones, yet only mordin died.
This really sucks because I already moved on and I can't redo the SM to get rid of jack. A whole playthtough wasted..

Something's not entirely right with the Hold the Line numbers. I had five people holding the line and I was shooting for killing two. I had:
Loyal Garrus: 4
Loyal Miranda: 2
Loyal Tali: 1
Unloyal Jack: 0
Unloyal Mordin: 0
That gives an average of 7 in a team of 5. 7 / 5 = 1.4.

when u save your game do u keep 2 saves or just 1. i always have a normandy save before SM and a save during a mission. So if i make a mistake i can do it over

I only noticed Jack survived when I could select my team for Overlord. She wasn't present in the final cutscene where you see the survivors either so I didn't think anything of it. That ****

Hi. couldn't see the combo where everybody but Tali and Garrus survive, this is doable yes? And which guide should I follow and where do I switch up the choices?
You should have no problem doing one where all but Tali and Garrus live. Have everyone loyal (Except Garrus and Tali, if you like, either way they'll die in this scenario) and just send Garrus into the vents and have Tali lead the second team. Send Mordin with Chakwas and take Kasumi and Jack with you to the final battle. Done.

is in your party. I haven't seen this one done up yet, so I figured I'd
post it. I'm about 3/4 the way through the playthrough right now. I'll
confirm as so as I finish it, but I thought I'd put it up now to see if
anyone finds something I screwed up, hopefully before it's to late to
fix it.
Final Squadmates: Nothing but Crazies (And a Doctor)
----------------
Loyals: Garrus, Grunt, Jack, Jacob, Kasumi, Morinth, Thane, Zaeed
Nonloyals: Legion, Miranda, Mordin, Tali
Normandy Upgrades: Armor
Chakwas and Crew: Dead, Except Chakwas
Before the Omega-4 Mass Relay
- Choose Morinth - Requires a high Paragon/Renegade point ratio.
- Side with Jack during the Jack/Miranda conflict.
- Present evidence to expose father during Tali's trail.
- Give Legion to Cerberus
- Do more than 5 missions before going through the Omega 4 relay after the crew is kidnapped.
Approach to Base
- Take Tali and Kasumi to fight Occulus
- No shield upgrade - Thane dies
- No weapons upgrade - Garrus dies
Assignments
- Send Jacob into the vents - Jacob dies
- Use Mordin as an escort - Mordin dies and Chakwas survives
- Use Miranda for the shield, bring Grunt with anyone but Jack - Grunt dies
- Use Zaeed as the Second Fireteam Leader - Zaeed Dies
- Hold the Line - Jack, Morinth, Kasumi - HtL average = 1.33 - Kasumi dies
- Final Boss - Miranda and Tali - Miranda and Tali die
Death Roundup
- Legion was never reactivated
- Thane died by engine room explosion
- Garrus died by support beam
- Jacob died by rocket to face
- Grunt carried away by seeker swarm
- Zaeed after closing the second door
- Mordin escorting Chakwas
- Kasumi died holding the line
- Tali died at the final boss
- Miranda died at the final boss

I always did think she sounded a teeeeensy bit peevish in her "Logging You Out, Shepard" when you cut her off in mid-sentence when explaining a part of the Normandy.

Nice coincidence, right now I'm doing similar playthrough, the couple of differences are: Grunt would never leave his tank and nobody would escort Chakwas.

Let Jacob keep his promise and die in the vents. Have an unloyal Samara as biotic specialist and take Grunt and Tali. Grunt will die. Zaeed leads the second fireteam and dies. An unloyal Miranda can escort the screw back and die. Thane and Mordin accompany you to the final fight and as both are unloyal die.
That leaves: Garrus, Tali, Jack, Legion and Samara to hold the line. An average of 1.8 means one of them dies. Samara is the only unloyal one so she dies first.
Garrus, Legion, Jack and Tali are the only survivors.
Doing everyone's loyalty mission might be more difficult

If Tali were to be unloyal for whatever reason, there's no chance of saving her, unless the line value is high enough, right? Also, I can interchange Miranda and Mordin and both will still die, right? If the unloyal Miranda is the 2nd fireteam leader, she always survives, or does it depend on how many is left in your team by then?ThomasMiddleton wrote...
It's easy if you just do the loyalty missions of the before mentioned people and not help the others.

An unloyal Tali can't survive. Even if you take Samara and Thane to the final fight and they both die. That leaves Garrus (4), Jack (1), Legion (2), Tali (0), Mordin (0) with an average of 1.4 and 1.5 is needed for one casualty only (Mordin). You need her loyalty.

I'm planning to complete Reaper IFF ASAP to get as much of Legion's unique dialouge as possible, especially at Tali's recruitment (and loyalty) mission. So I won't be able to make it through the relay in time to rescue the crew. Thus I lose the opportunity to lose someone as escort...
Zaeed will be left 4 dead if that is necessary... xD

I want a playthrough where everyone that is not female dies.
Garrus, Jacob, Thane, Mordin, Grunt, and Legion. (I don't have DLC for Zaeed, no cord to hook up internet to :/) What can I say, my Vanguard Shep likes the ladies~. ;3
Would it be all that hard? Could I just use common sense to kill them off? Don't do their loyalty missions, put them in a bad job, etc.? But see... in my first playthrough, I did everyone's loyalty mission BUT Miranda's and Jacob's, but only Miranda died. -__-. I thought I had given Jacob a bad job; guarding the door.
I got off topic. *coughs* Anyone got a good idea on how to kill them off? I'm not so concerned with getting max amount of experience with loyalty missions. So, that doesn't have to be factored in.
I want the whole crew to live too, since I want to keep Kelly around.

No you don't. Chakwas will be alive no matter how long will it take you to go through Omega 4, you could send escort with her.KeeperOfArlathan wrote...

Well that's good news!
I suppose I'll go with something like this:
Zaeed: Dies at loyalty mission
Jack: Dies on the Normandy (lack of armor upgrade)
Kasumi: Dies on the Normandy (lack of shield upgrade)
Thane: Dies on the Normandy (lack of weapon upgrade)
Jacob: Dies at collector base (vents)
Grunt: Dies at collector base (second fireteam leader)
Garrus: Dies at collector base (Miranda is biotic specialist)
Miranda: Dies at collector base (unloyal escort)
Mordin: Dies at collectors base (Hold the line, unloyal)
Tali: Dies at collectors base (Hold the line, unloyal)
Legion: Survives (Final battle, loyal)
Morinth: Survives (Final battle, loyal)
Should work according to the chart, (http://img203.images...ssionfinal8.jpg)
and I only have to skip one loyalty mission (Mordin's)

I started in ME1, with a femshep (as a sexist thing,) named after a particularly crazy ex-girlfriend. Killed everyone possible. Romanced Liara and Kaidan - and made it so that Kaidan turned down a threesome as the last thing he did in this existence. Then in ME2, I followed this playthrough, cheating on Liara with Jacob - easily the worst romance option. While wearing pink. I can't wait to see what happens!

I'm going to do this, although I'll leave Balak alive and I'll save Ashley instead of Kaidan cause Kaiden is higher in rank and he is a Biotic and TIM always preaches about Biotics all being very skilled and being the future for the Alliance and etc.
EDIT: As for why I'd leave Balak alive I'm not really sure. I suppose if you kill Balak and sacrifice the workers you'd be more despised but I'm just assuming that Balak will cause a lot of trouble in ME 3 if you kept him alive. Either way its just one of those things that probably might not have a worse choice.
