Let's see... The first thing people thought when they saw/heard the name, was a japanse fighting game (at least, I think it is. Maybe it's a softporn film, I can't really remember). That leads me to believe that BioWare is trying to lure in the anime/hentai/mange/jrpg fans.
The screenshots only add to those fears. The description of the character almost confirms it.
I'm not a anime/mange/hentai/jrpg fan. In fact, I hate them with a passion. And mixing JRPG with Western RPG's or western style games NEVER result in anything interesting or even playable.

Anime/Manga/Hentai/JRPG are very, very different. I don't think Bioware is going to make their game into an animated series, a comic book, cartoon pornography, or Final Fantasy XIIIVXXX with the addition of one piece of DLC. And it's pretty weird you'd get so freaked out about that. It's free. Download it or don't.

I can totally understand why people get scared at hearing "Kasumi" and then seeing the picture that's circulating around. I, too, have a deep and intense hatred for all things anime/manga. The genre breeds stupidity, especially in Americans. But, just like before ME2 came out, I have faith in BioWare. They've never done wrong by me yet. I'll stick by them until they kick me right in the daddybags. So until then, I'm eagerly anticipating the Kasumi dlc.

No sir, I read the whole post you made. And I belive I understand it. You reffered to the "people" but still your tone clearly suggested that you dislike the idea too. And the reason I commented only on that was because I refuse to comment conspiracy theories about BioWare trying to attract Naruto fans... if they would, the character would be called Sakura (another totaly generic JP name). Also, the "fail" comment was a refference to my previous post where I used the same phrase - considered it funny at that moment.

Seriously, could we all stop deciding we hate love a character before they're even released? Given her incredibly brief description, Kasumi could easily be Bioware's homage to Thief. Or the movie Entrapment. Or a Dungeons&Dragons rogue. I'm picking outlandish possibilities on purpose here. We know basically nothing about the character.



Kasumi might not even be her real name. Archangel was hardly the real name of the turian in question, now was it?
