I can back-up my ME1 characters but not my ME2 ones, kinda frustrating since the ME2 saves will carry over to ME3 so if the 360 gets RROD it's bye bye Shepard.

Anyone know if this is being looked into or will get patched?

ME2 is not the only game that does this.

I doubt it will be fixed either.

Anyway of your 360 gets the RRoD you just keep the hard drive and put it on a new 360.

Yeah...the HD is removable. My entire first playthrough was on someone else's console using my HD.

Yeah, that's probably the best thing.

Didn't realise this was a problem with a lot of 360 games, I don't really use it that much – only bought one for the KOTOR and ME games.

The issue is if your Hard Drive goes bad.  Then you are out of luck.  This issue really needs to be addressed by Microsoft and the game developers.  There needs to be a backup solution for saved games.  This would probably produce more revenue for them as well in forcing us to buy their proprietary Memory Units.
