I get the same message when I try to download my amulet of the war mage on my xbox from the dlc list. This is frustrating. I sent them an email about it. So far, no response.

you can easily fix this problem if you have mass effect 2 as well. just go to the mass effect 2 main menu after redeeming the code and then click new downloadable content. it may take a while to download, but you should get it for both mass effect and dragon age this way.

I get thesame problem too for DAO - Collectors edition. I have googled every solution i could try, fixed my router 2 times, ran my Xbox through 3 different internet connections, but it gives the 800700e8 error over and over again. I have petitioned for help, but non of their solutions work.
FFS BIOWARE GET A SOLUTION!!!
Im sitting on 20 euro worth of extra cash for DLC's, and they don't work. GET IT FIXED!!

I have a feeling that is somehow related to that RtO patch that seemed to introduce more bugs than it fixed. Why couldn't they just can the damn dlc or work on it longer? Everyone complained about the lack of dlc for Mass Effect, and when Bioware delivers for Dragon Age, this is what we get...

Well, I'm sure that they're trying to find a solution which haven't given them the time to respond.

well after 24 hours I would say they should have at least said "Hey, we are aware of the issue and are looking into it." this is reminiscent of Blizzards responses in the Diablo 2 forums about their new patch/beta test... which because of that I will not be playing another Diablo game EVER.

What makes you think they are trying to fix it at all? I doubt they are even aware of the issue.
Are there no moderators at all that can direct us to a place where we can bring our issue to the attention of those who can do something about it?
Thanks in advance.

What's the point of moderators if all they do is babysit? I thought the true reason for mods we're people they we're left in charge so the big boys could go out and play and then get the sparknotes when they return?
I agree after 24 hours + they should have informed the playerbase that they are aware of the issue and working to resolve it. Reassurence goes a long way, especially when your hard earned cash is involved.

Well i posted my issue at http://support.electronicarts.co.uk/ so hopefully someone will read it and maybe try do something. Maybe others should do the same to try and get their attention.
Buy i really doubt it will be fixed anytime soon.

I hope they do fix it quickly. Unlike the dex bug, which I hate greatly. Not being able to play what I paid for.... at all.... really makes me not too happy. I hope the the idea of Bioware/EA losing cash from customers is enough incentive for them to get something working.

I have been emailing them, and i hope that after 3 automated replies I'm getting through to them... I hope they fix it ASAP, it seems like a server error to me.

I don't know if this is related or not (though it seems to at first glance)...
I'm getting the error, and when i went to check the contents of the hard drive in the dashboard, there's no blood dragon armor or stone prisoner file under DA:O folder. I can't download them ingame because of the issue, but it's remarkable that if i try to download it from xbox live store they are (supposedly) downloaded in less than a second. And after doing so, they are still not in the hard drive.
