Just to tet people know i managed to redownload my armour/ce items through my download history but Levi Dryden, that you can download wardens keep through doesent appear in camp. I also have a save with him in the camp and when i try to download wardens keep I get the 800700e0 message.

EDIT: dont have ms points to download it but wouldnt think that make a difference

Also as people are able to purchase downloadable DLC, that sounds like some issue with EA / Xbox Live - I'd guess at something like Xbox Live are not allowing the download because EA's codes are not gelling with MS Live properly...?

Exactly thesame thing i have here. I have the Blood Dragon Armor running fine on ME2, but nada from Collectors Edition stuff from DAO.  Basically boils down to lack of communication between EA and MS on terms of keeping things updated for Xbox Live. I hope they fix it soon, but still no confirm from Bioware here.. Or from EA in the emails.

I also cannot download the Stone Prisoner on my Xbox 360. I get the "Status code: 800700e8" error message.

I also found a link to a .pdf file detailing how to log into your EA account from within the game:

Interestingly enough that option to log in to my EA account is not present on my game. Did they remove it with a patch?

I would also like to say that I have Dragon Age Origins for the PC and all of my downloadable content randomly disappears. You name it, Warden's Keep, the Stone Prisoner (that shows up as the Shale talk bug; when you talk to Shale you get teleported off of the map), Memory Band, Feral Wolf charm. It seems that downloadable content for this game has been borked from the word go.

If game designers and publishers insist on only shipping part of a game and requiring you to download the rest of it only to have it not work then I will just stop buying their games.

This is rediculous.

I too am getting the same error code. Purchased the game new, entered the codes, the game detected that they were the Shale and Armor ones, have a BioWare and EA account registered to my account, but nope. 800700e8. I can't play DAO without having a feeling that I am missing something I deserve.

This problem is even in the EA forums...i wish i could use my DLC also...purchased Stone Prison and Blood Armor...the Blood Armor is working in ME2 just can't download it on the DA game...

I'm dealing with the same problems and status code message. However like the others have said I can still download the armor for ME2. Just can't seem to get Stone Prisoner and the armor download working for DA:O. I called Xbox support earlier they told me I had to enter my 16 digit code on the EA site and then it would provide me with the Xbox marketplace 25 digit code automatically to download it for free. That was a load of crap still no results shows up. Says it’s purchased but still can't download it to my console. I bought this game to relax and have some fun not to battle with reluctant servers and faulty codes.

Yeah this is ridiculous, finally got my Collector's Edition and the only DLC that works is the Warden's Keep that I bought with MS points. Ostagar doesn't want to download, neither do all my redeemed codes even though they are purchased. This is totally unacceptable... that's stolen money until this issue is resolved. I can't believe this thread is so populated with absolutely NO response. Will be contacting appropriate companies tomorrow to see what I can do. I can't even begin to play the damn game.

You can put in the code, but the armor don't expire that will save your code!

I doubt that it is related in any way to an expiry date. The codes are activated, the dlc's are listed as purchased, but cannot be downloaded due to the 800700e8 error.

They told me it was ea and bioware that I needed to contact. What a total waste of my time. Xbox even told me to check my download history which I already did to see if my dlc where there they weren't. The only ones that show up for dragon age is the ones I bought from xbox live. What doesn't make since is why aren't the dlc I get from buying the new dragon age codes work so I can download and install them to my harddrive but I can buy the ones from live and download them this is bs. Never thought getting this game was going to have problems. Won't be playing it intill dlc codes work even the dragonagejourneys.com content don't work. Stupid error code 8007 thing keeps popping up very dissapointing. Bioware , ea who ever fix this so I get what I payed for.

I only bought this game myself yesterday and am already going to cut my losses. Game is going back later this week. After Reading into the numerous problems with this title and the lack of care from the devs and the publisher I'm absolutely disgusted. Mass effect 2 may be a great game but I won't be purchasing it. Not after this. Shame....

I've been watching this thread for most of it's life, having encountered the same problem as all of you the same day of the initial postings. I'd bought the game brand new from Gamestop (for the very reason of obtaining the free dlc) only to be shafted by this quagmire.



From recent personal experience, and from reading what all of you have said in this thread and from other threads, my faith in Bioware and EA has gone down dramatically in the last 24 hours. I'm questioning if I should even buy any more Bioware products....

I was about to purchase Wardens Keep & Return to Ostagar, until a friend told me of this. The situation is awful. Mistakes/problems happen, but to not rectify/acknowledge the problem after 3 days is disgraceful.
