I'm having the same problem as everyone dling Shale and even emailed about it and yup got their response saying that my problems are logging on xbox live. Do they hire people with no common sense? because I have no problems with live if I'm connected to it and trying to download the dlc! man don't you just love ea support lol. I don't even want to try again just to see if its fixed because if I see the 800700e8 code again I will destroy everything I see lol

Just got earned myself a few random bitsof DLC in that Dragon Age Journys flash game, and now i'm having the same problem, nothing is downloading.
This is a problem with E.A. Microsoft don't keep EA DLC on their servers as far as i'm aware, hence why the game has to connect to the EA servers at the start.
Either way this sh*t needs fixing.

EA is just buying time I'm sure ... if they can claim 24-48 hours per response, they figure that for every BS response they send you, they have 24 more hours to ignore your particular question (in best case, to fix the problem in that time ... worst case is to just ignore you)
EA lists their email response time as:
"You can usually expect an answer to your question within 24 to 48 hours.
Dragon Age: Origins, however, has proved to be such a great game launch that our teams are currently experiencing a high number of e-mail contacts."
Personally I laugh at that ... if tech support is getting a high number of email contacts, its not because it's a great game launch ... it's because it's a broken game launch

i had the same problem, but i have now fixed mine.
I went to downloaded history, which mine appeared then i re-downloaded it again. On my dragon age dlc screen i had it as purchased but was getting the same 800 error.
Since re-downloading the dlc from my download history everything is working, i am now in fact doing the golem quest.
hope this helps some.

Exactly. BioWare don't host the content, as I was trying to explain to my ranting mate.Hrodel wrote...

i am also having this same issue.....very very sadden by this...played the game for like 10ish hours...choose to go somewhere and it was all like "blah blah go get golem blah blah"..so i tried..and it won't let me download it. It accepted both my redemption codes...and show as purchased under the in game menu...Don't show up in download history and i get the same error as everyone else..
I called Microsoft...was on tech support call for about 3 hours..for them to tell me it HAS to be MY router..after i tried to explain to them that i was connected to xbox live and could download anything but these two specific items..i swear..good help must be hard to find..lol

I just submitted a news tip to GameInformer with a link to this thread and another I've come across for the same problem on a different site. Since us consumers aren't getting anywhere with EA, perhaps this story will get picked up and some bad press will light the flame under their ass.

I emailed them about this last night and got a lame ass response. Telling me to turn the game off and back on? Like I havent done it or like I dont do it everytime i turn the xbox on.... Also telling me how to fix it, but for the pc, even though my question was specifically for xbox 360.... ****ty ass customer service if you ask me.

I just sent an email to them asking for some kind of solution, I'll be uber ticked if they don't give me something better than the nonsense BS response they've been giving.
...but judging from the experience from everyone else... I'm not holding onto much hope.

Yep it appears to be a general DLC issue with Dragon Age, as I cannot download the Lucky Ring via Xbox Live either, it's registered as purchased but the same old error code
You'd think they'd sort this out, it's hardly encouraging people to purchase DLC
*edit*
Just tried using marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/myAccount/PurchaseHistory.aspx and it recognises the ME2 Dragon Armour download, but there is no sign of any of the DA:O downloads, so the codes that are recognised within the game itself are not being recognised by Xbox Live, as I suspected
Sometimes I hate being an IT Tech... lol

As it has been mentioned before, if the dlc appeared in your download history, you can download them again there. Not sure if that will work ingame after it, i'll try later. But anyway, the ingame dlc store is still bugged and telling i''ve only purchased not downloaded, and Warden's Keep is nowhere to be seen.

The odd thing about WC is that you can download it from the Live menu outside of DA:O. When I was re-downloading it, I noticed that they were still trying to sell me the Shale DLC for 1200 points....
Xbox live just doesn't recognize particular DA:O stuff....

Yep that's right, if you've purchased it via Xbox Live it will be fine, in game sadly no
Incidentally it appears that the server for http://www.dragonagejourneys.com/ is also down right now... I can ping http://www.dragonage.com/ but not the flash game site... maybe it's because it's the weekend and their on call engineer has his mobile switched off (Not that it happens lol)

It's working for me now after redownloading. I somehow had them both in my download history, so they must have been marked as not downloaded somehow when this mess began. Still, no Warden's Keep and i can't redownload them ingame, so it's not a real, only a workaround for those like me who had them in history and maybe those that can download them from where Rambo46 said
