Well someone has contacted Xbox CS and was told that they are working with EA to fix the issue. This was as of Sunday.

Does anybody know what the status code means?

i cant find an explanation for it and maybe if we knew what it ment we would be one step closer to figuing out the problem?

with Dragon Age Origins. Your reference number for this support ticket
is 100213-039806. The ports used by the Dragon Age Origins servers are:
TCP
• 53
• 88
• 3074

UDP
• 53
• 80
• 3074

For specific instructions on how to open your ports, you can visit http://www.portforward.com/ or contact your router manufacturer.

Another option is to put your xbox in DMZ mode, which opens up all ports on the router

I sure hope they fix it i've been having the same problem for weeks. This same problem has kept me from downloading the special items i unlocked by playing dragon age journey's. Got my fingers crossed

What do you mean? how does this have to do with the problem? Us dragon age players cannot download shale, or the blood armor, and all we get is "Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later.

Many people have had this problem and Bioware and Microsoft are confusing me with misc. solutions that dont WORK.

(Btw ive been trying to fix mine for 4 hours now)

From what I can gather, the problem lies with th EA Servers. If they are performing maintenance on them, it may solve the issue, it may not.
And it's "WE" Dragon Age players, I'm with you guys!!

I don't see how opening ports on your router will make the slightest difference. If you're connected to Live, you're connected. Opening ports to allow one Publishers DLC through XBL? Please.

it was a good effort. They should have simply linked the downloadable content directly to xbox live market place instead of through EA's crappy servers. Then we could all download it without any problem.

Yeah im not so sure about my revolutionist ideas either, but i jsut want the problem fixed. Obviously hundreds of people are having the same problem. Image IPB

i had this problem with downloadin 'The Stone Prisoner' after inputtin the redeem code. i kept gettin the error code:800700e8. However, when i checked my past downloads through the xbox dashboard, it was listed there for some unknown reason. anyway, i downloaded it from there perfectly.



Hope this helps some people



p.s; when checkin past downloads, i DONT mean through xbox marketplace. You need to press the BIG 'X' button in the middle of your pad, so the blades pop-up. Then find the section that says 'past downloads'. hopefully it'll be there

So I just tried again to download my stuff and now when I go to download something from the in-game download section, I don't get the error code anymore. When I highlight something and press 'A' to download, it just makes a clicking sound and no error code pops up.

I got the same click sound no download, but at least it seems they are doing something. i also notice the other downloadable content is no available right now from the game downloadable content menu

That's what I was thinking.

I really wish they would acknowledge that there is a problem and let us know if they are working on it. I mean, isn't this whole section of the forums specifically for open communication between Bioware/EA and us, the consumers?

Good seeing some changes about the problem. But i'm very concerned that they seem to have forgotten it's as important fixing the issue as it's having your clients feel they are listened. Just a simple and short post telling people just that they're looking into it, even when it doesn't solve anything, can relieve a lot of tension and and anger. Oh well...

Yay it works finally.

Just tried it again and it finally downloaded... they must have fixed the problem
