Ashley to me always looked hispanic..but honestly most people in the game look mixed..even in the books it mentions about how people are very mixed, I think it's true, one day everyone is going to look like they are mixed with something..and honestly who cares?..as far as im concerned theres only one race and thats the human race

I'm really not getting the point to this thread. Are black people supposed to sound a certain way or something? Are people surprised that they were listening to a black girl's voice and not realising it? How is that not... bigoted?

Anyway while we're at it, there's a bit in Half Life 2 - Ep. 2 if you play it with the commentaries on where the voice actress of Alyx tells that she heard someone say about her after watching her photo "OMG! is that how Alyx looks in real life? She's so ugly!". I've always found the subject amusing afterwards.

I was kinda anticipating that this is how Kimberly Brooks would look like.

That is the wrong Kimberly Brooks.  She is an actress but not the voice actress that voices Ashley.

This is the Kimberly Brooks that does Ashley's voice.

Hows Ashley sux as a character? Space cowboygirl with 3 sisters she took care of and a fond of poetry that she read on tape for her father when he was on a mission and over his grave? 

It's you sux because you were to busy shooting stuff instead of exploring universe. I bet you completed ME1 as a soldier.

On topic: didn't know that. Doesn't sound like black at all. Her reading of ME2 letter to LI male Shep was brilliant VA. Gotta give her that.
