Ugh, attention **** thread!

Ok, whenever I am bored I get my rifles out of the closet and give them a good cleaning, even if they are perfectly clean. Which happens at least twice a day.

I speak 4 tongues, 3 of which I speak as best as I can, the last one being more for ordering food in the country.
I am basically 1/2 Slovene, 1/4 Italian and the rest from Bosnia and Serbia, mixes mostly.

Yeah, I know it's not really interesting...
Another one ? I collect weapons, any age, any kind. One of the nicest one being a rapier, aprox. 70 years old, with a large "HINDENBURG" written on it. Possibilities are many for this sword, as Hindenburg was the first German president as well as the name of a warship (AND the famous blimp that went puff). According to a very historically loving sword collector from my region, the sword was a gift from the president to some of his finest officers... possibly making Hitler have one of these as well... BUT nothing is really sure. For all we know, it could be an excellent fake...

I was going to say something terribly witty, but the best I could come up with is "Me too."

It's a sad, sad day for humanity. Posted Image

When I was 10, I predicted the 2nd Iraq war. It was as Bush Jr. was running for office.

I am the proud founder (with a couple other guys) of one of the best ancient swordmanship reenacting associations in Spain.

I have taken countless stabs, cuts and hits; some of them really nasty (in terms of bleeding) during shows and I haven´t collapsed in any of them.

Oh, and I have been awarded a Fulbright grant; but talking about work is something I do not really enjoy.

I'm nowhere near as badass as the swordmaster above so anything I say is moot. My only successes have been academic, comedic or gaming.

I played DAoC once, & dared to make, play, & enjoy a Frostalf Thane. (Considered one of the gimpest character builds in that game.) He was fun!

Also, I have a Jacobson. It's kinda like a baby dump truck. :) Yet it's a full blown vechicle, not a toy. So far, i've hauled a TV & an Excersice Bike on it, at once. It's handy. :D

It´s not stuff like Middle ages weapons, it´s nastier and dirtier with blades like these:

1-Roman puggio derivated from a triangular front knife from Southern Iberia.
2-Roman gladius, a sort of Hispaniensis type.
3-Iberian falcata; probably the most difficult to use and the nasties in terms of effects.

Still, don´t degrade yourself. Academic success means a lot, a terrible lot of effort and hours; comedic success is the same and you should be very, very proud of both.

I have OCD, and it manifests itself in a slightly weird way. In my own home, and anywhere else I visit, whether it be a bus, doctors office, mall, etc..., I have to count the number of walls, corners, doors, and doorways. The way I do it is, each section of wall counts as two, because it has two sides. The two sides of the wall make one wall, thus counting as one. Whenever the wall meets a corner, that completes that particular wall, so I count the next one. I leave gaps for doors, windows, and sliding glass doors.

I do it so often, I can remember the layout of places I've been to for an extended period of time. My house currently has 63 walls, including everything from the bathroom to the utility closet. I also count driveways(using the 2 sides of a driveway = 1), and trees that are lined up in a row(using the same method).

It started when I was a kid, I started counting the number of sides on the TV repetitively. Slowly I kept adding things, like the TV+the armoire it was sitting on. Eventually I started counting the walls in the entire house.

I know you said one but what the hey here is a few things about me.

1. I was getting scouted by the London towers (basketball team) when i was 16 they offered me to train with them but i had to decline as my dad was in the Army and i was moving to Cyprus two weeks later. The guy even said im the best 16 year old player they have seen in the whole of the UK, so i was pretty upset when i had to decline.

2. My family have a military tradition dating back before the WW1.

3. My uncle was murderd by the IRA on halloween night when i was a little kid.

4. I witnessed the death of my school teacher when i was 7, she had a heart attack in the middle of the asembly hall.

5. I went to school with Amelle Berrabah from the Sugerbabes.

6. I had a near-death expierence twice, both by nearly drowning.

7. I have lived in 5 different countries, at 19 years old i think thats impressive.
