I dont drink either, only 19 but legal age is 18 down here. (may be changing soon though)

Apparantly, it makes me some sort of horrific freak of nature.

Also, can i get in on the group hug?
After i take a shower.

ouch.

i have only ever had problems with one tooth and i won in the end, it was removed as an example to its brethren.

Is it odd that i think of parts of my body as something i have to rule through fear?

Well, the legal limit in finland is 18, but If one takes a stroll to the city, one sees that there are 13yrs old kids passed out on the park bench...

Oh, I am sure this happens pretty much everywhere in the world...

We used to be in the same spot for years; 16 for brewed stuff and 18 for spirits. Now that we have a goverment quite worried about our health and good manners, (they are socialist but they behave in a more moralist way than newborn chrstians), so they have rised the legal age to 18.

Those bastards! Teeth are among the worst parts that can hurt, it drives you absolutely mad and makes you feel misserable. Mines are (luckily) out too.

I needed four wisdom teeth pulled, as well, and...Uuh...My two bottom wisdom teeth were right by the nerve beds. I tried eating some mashed potatoes a few hours after the surgery, and the food must have entered the sockets...The most ferocious pain imaginable. You don't want to scream, or cry, you just want it to stop. I also hated the pain killers. I only took them at night. For the day, I just got by on an advil.

I've had three wisdom teeth pulled out (I think that pretty much explains why my IQ is so low...) and one is waiting for its turn. I was surprised that it didn't hurt at all, when I was prepared to rollercoaster of pain...

Oh one more bit of trivia, I have about 15cm surgical scar on the left side of my chest... They removed some kind of lump there. It wasn't anything serious, but it was rather painful.

Lilith, will you come and hold my hand when the time comes to pull the last wisdom teeth out? *cute puppy eyes*

And yes Godak, you can hold my other hand. Or my third leg, if you prefer *winkwink*

I had a bone spur in my toe that I ignored for two years. It looks pretty cool when you ignore it for two years.

Just someone cover my mouth lest the dentist decide mine need removing too Image IPB.

More odd stuff:
- For some reason I've always wanted a tail, don't ask me why Image IPB

- When I was a kid I got bucked off a horse because of the stupid instructor, I flew over the horses head and landed on my face. The doctors still don't know how I didn't break my neck.

Cheers

I'll need to see pictures of you before I can decide if it will "work". Not just anyone can pull of the tail.

I rode a horse once. I was told that I was a natural. *Lifts chin high* Image IPB

Anyway...The reason you didn't break your neck is because you were a child. Our bones are more malleable the younger we are.

Ooo, give me some of that snow too! Winter is my favorite season, and I don't really like summer very much. n fact, I would rather have it be rainy over sunny any day of the week. I guess that's why as soon as I'm done with school I'm moving myself from California to New York.

I'm reminded of a line from Spike in BtVS about being as pure as the driven yellow snow. :pinched:

I would so send it to you three if I could. Well, white snow not yellow. ;) It snowed nonstop all day. My net connection was knocked out almost all day. It made for a beautiful landscape though. Gave me an excuse to borrow a digital camera and snap pictures of the surrounding forest.

So, is it lemon flavored or not? Image IPB

On an unrelated note, I have also experienced the joy of having my four wisdom teeth removed. Except I had them yanked two at a time. My bottom teeth were impacted, so the dentist had to slice my gums open first and stitch them up afterwards. It was excrutiating. That first night home, all I did was lay down and try to sleep. Except my cheeks were swelling up like balloons and the slighest movements of my jaw would cause massive gum bleeding. I walked around with an icepack for over a week, and couldn't eat a bite for days. Removing the top two was mostly painless and uneventful though.

At least you got stitches! I had to IRRIGATE MY SOCKETS WITH WATER TO GET THE FOOD OUT! Honestly? That had to be the most humiliating self-induced pain ever.

My cheeks never swelled, though. I'm some crazy mutant-man. My bottom two were really far down, too. They were actually in danger of entangling themselves in my nerve bed.

So, do we all agree? Wisdom teeth can go f^_^ck themselves? Image IPB

Wisdom teeth suck. :/ They are also so inappropriately named. I had to get stitches on account of his slicing my gums to get at the teeth. Maybe it isn't standard procedure. Your case sounds worse though; with the nerve thing....

Question: When don't they have to slice your gums? Image IPB

Seagloom wrote...

And no, no lemon flavored snow.

Banana flavored, then? Image IPB

That had to suck. All that pain, and you had no idea why it even had to be that way...Image IPB

Seagloom wrote...

You can produce it with yellow dye #5. That's the artificial method. You don't want the real thing. XD

So, about that snow you were thinking about sending...Image IPB

Surprised? My old neighbor, robbed a house while people were in it, no mask, wielding an unregistered handgun, possession of narcotics, went home on bail the very next day, his court date was early January, he still deals in that neighborhood, still rolls with the thugs lol. And on top of that a cop lives across the street from him.

So glad I've almost got that house painted and the carpets cleaned, so glad to be out of it, ready to be rid of it, never set foot in that neighborhood again.

Naaaw. My surgeon told me why he cut my gums. I just wasn't aware that was standard practice. He said my teeth were too impacted not to cut them. Believable, considering they barely poked out from my under my gums back there. Or maybe I misunderstood what you meant? It's late and I'm about to pass out. :P

Bwahaha! Weak New Yorkers and their silly midnight...Us Arizonans are already getting tired at ten!

...Wait. Image IPB

Anyway, wisdom teeth becoming impacted (it means that they're sideways, like my brain) is why they get removed. Sorry if I didn't read that part of your wisdom tooth post (which I didn't: just checked).

Seagloom wrote...

I'll send you some of that snow. Expect it in six to eight weeks. (Disclaimer: snow may actually arrive as water.) ;)

You cannot imagine how it pisses me off when I request results for "Slayer" and the first 50 entries are about that damn series!

I want the Californians who sing about Satan, psychopaths, war and grusome stuff; not teenager crapp!

@Statulos: Hmh, are you saying that Buffy is more popular than satan-singers? How odd...

@Godak: Yes, an orgy:wizard:  Wait, friendliness? Bummer... <_<

@Ruka: Tails are always good. And I have never rode a horse...since I'm afraid of those walking bags of destruction. They are huuuuuge....

And to the point. Yes, they sliced my gums too, when taking out one of the wisdom teeths. Two upper ones they just yanked away. It felt odd, when you can't feel pain, but you can feel your tooth bending, thenyou hear a loudish crunch, and then you taste blood...

Same thing when your kneecaps dislocate. It doesn't hurt, it just feels...odd...
