Another fact hmm I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at once, and got dry socket in both the bottom holes. It hurt like hell!!
We used to be in the same spot for years; 16 for brewed stuff and 18 for spirits. Now that we have a goverment quite worried about our health and good manners, (they are socialist but they behave in a more moralist way than newborn chrstians), so they have rised the legal age to 18.dark-lauron wrote...
Oh, I am sure this happens pretty much everywhere in the world...KneeTheCap wrote...
Well, the legal limit in finland is 18, but If one takes a stroll to the city, one sees that there are 13yrs old kids passed out on the park bench...
Those bastards! Teeth are among the worst parts that can hurt, it drives you absolutely mad and makes you feel misserable. Mines are (luckily) out too.Cybernetica wrote...

I had a bone spur in my toe that I ignored for two years. It looks pretty cool when you ignore it for two years.

I hear the yellow snow is lemon flavored!
...Mmmm...
I'm reminded of a line from Spike in BtVS about being as pure as the driven yellow snow.

I would so send it to you three if I could. Well, white snow not yellow. It snowed nonstop all day. My net connection was knocked out almost all day. It made for a beautiful landscape though. Gave me an excuse to borrow a digital camera and snap pictures of the surrounding forest.

On an unrelated note, I have also experienced the joy of having my four wisdom teeth removed. Except I had them yanked two at a time. My bottom teeth were impacted, so the dentist had to slice my gums open first and stitch them up afterwards. It was excrutiating. That first night home, all I did was lay down and try to sleep. Except my cheeks were swelling up like balloons and the slighest movements of my jaw would cause massive gum bleeding. I walked around with an icepack for over a week, and couldn't eat a bite for days. Removing the top two was mostly painless and uneventful though.

Wisdom teeth suck. :/ They are also so inappropriately named. I had to get stitches on account of his slicing my gums to get at the teeth. Maybe it isn't standard procedure. Your case sounds worse though; with the nerve thing....

And no, no lemon flavored snow.

Or... a person.
Seagloom wrote...
Never, apparently. I was under the impression they just yanked them out from some people. I suppose not.

You can produce it with yellow dye #5. That's the artificial method. You don't want the real thing. XD

Naaaw. My surgeon told me why he cut my gums. I just wasn't aware that was standard practice. He said my teeth were too impacted not to cut them. Believable, considering they barely poked out from my under my gums back there. Or maybe I misunderstood what you meant? It's late and I'm about to pass out.![]()

I'll send you some of that snow. Expect it in six to eight weeks. (Disclaimer: snow may actually arrive as water.)

Just someone cover my mouth lest the dentist decide mine need removing too.
More odd stuff:
- For some reason I've always wanted a tail, don't ask me why
- When I was a kid I got bucked off a horse because of the stupid instructor, I flew over the horses head and landed on my face. The doctors still don't know how I didn't break my neck.
