You only have to ask me for it and I´ll cook for you. No need of weird contracts. ^_^

Well, anyway....

That Mercedes I mentioned awhile ago...It's not happening. It is an '86 after all. Something major is bound to go wrong with it and I imagine repair parts for a car like that will be hard to come by, and expensive at that. I'd just rather get another car and settle for a lesser sound system I guess. It had potential though...

I'm thinking though me and the family will go with the '90 Subaru Legacy now. I just hope we get something soon...

Mercedes is a sturdy high-quality brand; some of the best Germany has to offer.

Still, spare parts will be, as you state, a pain in the ass.

just like stated by Statulos, Mercedes cars from the 80's were built like tanks. BUT... since they almost never broke down, spare parts are quite rare. The legacy is a very good car. just a little more fragile than the merc, but its parts are easier to find, it's more economycal, it's comfortable and also has a good power when needed.

^ Yeah, the positives of the Subaru outway that of the Mercedes...even though German engineering is da' bomb! lol ....Even though it cost more than the 190e would of we will still be saving money in the longrun, imo...

I am absolutely partial to Germanic engineering in general: cars, guns, machinery, optics, measuring instruments...
And of course, poets, philosophers, writers, historians and many other great people in my little world of humanities. :)

If only they had an insanely amount of great asian females, I´d get there to live in a heartbeat. :P

@Vanguard & Statulos (after a little research) ^_^

German engineering is awesome, yes. But i looked on the car's story and if this legacy is equipped with the EJ22T engine (almost all of them are) then this is simply the powerplant who turned Subaru into the supreme rally champions during almost 10 years. @_@ (this is the same engine of the Impreza)

The legacy is only a sedan...Aaaaand its nothing special. They have the L Legacies and the LSi Legacies which I'm guessing would have some power to them. I believe the one we are looking at is neither of the 2....but we'll see...

My stepdads brother has a tuned Subaru Impreza WRX STI....those things, my friends, well.... they are amazing ;o

And i had to save the thread from page 2, yet again...oh no!

So we´re talking about cars...

I´m debating if I should get a car now that I´m stawing here for some more years. I have always loved both Ford and Jeep. I´m a veteran driver of a wrangler (also land rovers) and the other option is going to a nice mustang so, what should I do...

Well, you can try the Range Rover from the 90's for a good SUV, or the Land Rover defender (also from the 90's) for a more off-road approach ^_^

Both are great cars and near indestructible with good engines. The Range Rover uses a V8 derived from the Buick (try to get the 4.3, or 255). And the Defender is equipped with the same V8, but you can also get a turbodiesel version (wich is way better for a offroader)

Fact about me: I thought having my wisdom teeth removed was pretty fun! Seriously. I've got a decent pain threshhold, and anyway, playing video games immediately after that particular dentist visit was a great pain-nullifier :)

I wish you a speedy recovery though, and hope you're not uncomfortable/in pain for too long! Cheers.

I hear that. When that happened to me I found out the hard way that my body does not like Vicodin. I had to rely on over the counter pain killers and that was a nightmare. Also, do the salt rinse thing. Pain in the ass, but if you blow it off you will get an infection.

yeah, it wasn't thaaaaat much painful, but then, my face is still numb. I'll have to take painkillers for some time but otherwise, no complications ^_^

And according to the dentist, one of the teeth came out fine, the other had to be broken in half to be removed...

Ouch. Yeah a clean pull is what you want. The pain lingers more when one of your teeth is curved in or at an odd angle. That gets nasty.
