They tend to be movie prop replicas for the most part, although if I ever get over to Europe, I'm buying some real ones. I've always wanted to have a huge library with a ton of books, a fireplace, and a large number of swords displayed.
My former roommates were always both amused and slightly frightened by the fact I had swords in my bedroom. At least we were prepared if anyone ever tried to break in
