They tend to be movie prop replicas for the most part, although if I ever get over to Europe, I'm buying some real ones.  I've always wanted to have a huge library with a ton of books, a fireplace, and a large number of swords displayed.

My former roommates were always both amused and slightly frightened by the fact I had swords in my bedroom.  At least we were prepared if anyone ever tried to break in Image IPB

If you like the real stuff, save and get a Pavel Moc sword. Paul Chen is good for katanas in particular, but Moc is just the "Master Wade" of the real world.

If you ever make it to Spain, get to Toledo and enjoy...

Fact: next to my bed there is always a loaded short double barrel 12 gauge shotgun with external hammers, loaded with 00 plated buckshot. The saddle holster on the stock holds 4 buckshot and two slug rounds.
Under my bed on the other side there is a 20'' long machete ready to rock'n roll.

Extra confidence makes me sleep better.

Good to see another gun owner. Although swords have their place, if you don't have a gun a sharp blade beats the hell out of fists and feet or pointy sticks.

I was supposed to go to France, Spain and England back in high school and was going to get a sword then. Unfortunately, we didn't get to go on the trip due to the Madrid train bombings.

Random question: generally speaking, how many females post in these forums?

Indeed. That's where I trust my KA-BAR to come in handy.

Quite a few. I'd say they compose 35-45% of the forums.

March 11th... A couple people I know died that day. :(

I was in Norway when that happened and for two days, nobody in the Spaniard little commune we had there could sleep. :(
Still, if you ever get there, be sure to tell me for directions in Toledo. Most of the shops sell knock offs but there´s a couple that sell real hammer-forged blades (hey, like the Deeds of Flesh song!).

Regarding females; not too many comparatively; but the awesomeness of the ones I usaly talk to is just amazing. Hello Lilith and Seagloom.

Why, thank you!  Not sure what I did to deserve it, but I appreciate it all the same.

I do enjoy talking with everyone here; it's a good time, to be sure.

Peanut butter, double chocolate chunk, or candy?  Those are the three types currently in my freezer.

Use the candy. The other two sound way more delicious. Image IPB

I like cups of tea.

I don't know what to do.

I bought a 10 pack of mechanical pencils for no reason other than I like them.

I like to break stuff on my desk, like pencils, rulers etc. Later I always regret that I destroyed them.-
